http://steverattlesnake.cliquezone....f-the-top-heavyweights-are-fedor-and-overeem/ Obviously one of the top heavyweights is Fedor, and I would say Overeem, too, and I like Overeem. Ive always had a good relationship with him. Its hard to tell outside, and what a lot of people get caught up in is oh this guys out there. What you have to realize is the guys that fight in the UFC fight the very best in the world three times a year. I think anybodys a possibility. Hes supposed to be their champion. Theyve had a hard time getting him to fight. Did you ever notice these guys at Strikeforce have a hard time getting their people to come in and actually fight. If that was the case, you guys would never see the fights that you want to see. Especially with as many fights as were doing, when we sign a guy we want him to fight three times in a year. How the hell is he going to fight somewhere else? Its impossible.
Dana stop bull$hitting and stop taking everyone for fools. Your fighters are as active as those in Strikeforce, nothing more and nothing less. I dont know where these fight 3 times a year comes from, is that just another one of Dana's guesstimates? Brock Lesnar: 2 x 2010 1 x 2009 Shane Carwin: 2 x 2010 1 x 2009 Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira: 1 x 2010 1 x 2009 Frank Mir: 2 x 2010 2 x 2009 Cain Velasquez: 2 x 2010 3 x 2009 Junior dos Santos: 3 x 2010 2 x 2009 Roy Nelson: 2 x 2010 2 x 2009
The reason Overeem isnt fighting much for SF is the same reason he signed for them in the first place, Coker isnt demanding an exclusive contract. The same is true for alot of SF's HW's plus alot of them are at a fairly advanced stage in their career and are no longer taking buildup fights the way say JDS or Cain have been recently. As far as signing with the UFC goes Overeem has a champs clause so he'd have to lose for that to happen and if he does I don't think Zuffa will be interested in signing someone who lost to a HW outside their control.
overeem won't fight for ufc, or fedor for that matter. fight the guys in strikeforce and sort it out, and give us plenty of debate material.
Its not a bit of a fib. Its a flat out lie. Thats all he seems to do these days. I wish he'd just stick to promoting his own brand and stop talking about fighters he doesn't promote. His opinion simply doesn't matter as its pretty worthless by all accounts.
"Two Of The Top Heavyweights Are Fedor And Overeem " Another groundbreaking insight from Dana White. Is there no end to this man's wisdom?
Yes, multi millionaire and succesful promoter is about as mature and rational as idiots on message boards who takes a quote out of context and uses it as an excuse to launch a rant will watching manga porn
