1-Kida applying pressure and lands a monster right hand, Kida feinting and Thai guy looks terrified of being tagged, not much of anything at the momentm good short right counter by the Thai...

Okay that round made the Ward/Brand fight seem bearable. 10-9 Kida but that's due to the one big right hand he landed.

 

2-Some action early as Kida tagged, Kida coming forward now trying to open up a door or two, Thai kiddy happy to stay out of range...after Ward Vs Brand I get a Japanese counter puncher against a Thai dancer...bloody hell!

3-Thai looking for counters, Kida applying foot pressure but not throwing too much, Thai spends 3 seconds winding up the right hand...then sort of hammer fists it down, Thai told off for wrestling, Kida did enough for another round but he won't win fans like this. 3-0 Kida

 

4-Kida applying pressure and finally gets through with a few good shots including a shot to the body, Tags the Thai who...has a delayed reaction and takes the 10 count...didn't actually look like much of a connect and more like a quit job tbh...

Masataka Taniguchi (3-0, 3) Vs Thai??? (Thongchailek Chaiyonggym?) who is apparently 10-8-1 (4)

 

1-Taniguchi applying pressure and trying to measure the Thai with his jab, good stalking from the unbeaten youngster, a glancing body shot from the Thai, a touching body shot from Taniguchi, Taniguchi narrowly misses a left hand, touching counter hook from Taniguchi, Thai holds on, Taniguchi cooly brushes his hair...erm...Taniguchi round but neither landed anything too serious

 

2-More pressure from Taniguchi who is backing up the Thai pretty easily, 3-jabs followed by a hard left hand from Taniguchi shows his class, lovely body shot from Taniguchi, BIG left hand from Taniguchi drops the Thai! He's up quickly, nasty body shots from Taniguchi, flurry of body shots from Taniguchi, another big body shot from the unbeaten youngster

Lots of touches of class there from Taniguchi who is barely getting out of third gear

 

3-Taniguchi meaning business now lands a flurry of light stuff then a cracking body shot, more nasty body shots and eye caching flurries, Taniguchi looking for a bomb and gets tagged himself, he's looking for a spectacular finish and landing some beautiful punches in quick combinations, Thai is almost running away, SPITEFUL body shot from Taniguchi following by a shot upstairs. Very dominiant round for Taniguchi. 10-9

Yeah the Thai isn't up to much but that doesn't take away from some of the stuff Taniguchi is doing, his hand speed is brilliant and his combinations flow. Defensively there is some holes and he's looking too comfortable at times.

 

4-Taniguchi drops the Thai and whilst celebrating goes to the neutral corner...and the Thai stumbles behind him, the Thai getting desperate and swinging wild shots. HUGE RIGHT HAND! The Thai turns away and the referee waves it off! No idea how he stayed on his feet there - THAT WAS NASTY!
