8-No rest for the wicked, they are immediately throwing bombs again, looks like the guy in white is still the better man but wouldn't be shocked by very close cards...or wide cards... Guy in in blue is being out worked a bit now. Incredible fight and well worth a watch if someone uploads it Blue guy gets the win...think he was a bit lucky but ...what a fight Matsuo was in blue- scorecards were 78-75,78-75,78-74
1-Kogawa caught off balance in the opening seconds...oh it was a headclash, Kogawa now bringing the action and it looks like we could end up having a lot of headclashes before the end of this, Kogawa looking to land right hands from way outside of range, Kogawa slips...really not sure what's wrong with him here...another wayward miss from Kogawa, and another...he's not got a read on the southpaw stance at all! Manages get a right hand through at last. Odd first round, Kogawa gets it, Yudai did little...but Kogawa needs to stop fighting like a ****ing idiot!
2-Better from Kogawa who lands a couple of right hands early, and another, he seems to be getting into this, another 2 right hands, good left from Yudai gets through but he's stiffened up when Kogawa repsonds with a combination, a hard right from Kogawa, a nice combination from Kogawa who appeared to be wobbled seconds later, the fight has come alive and it is fun though a bit messy with both missing
3-Kogawa again looking a bit wild, Yudai trying to get his left hand into play, a sweeping right from Kogawa, a booming right from him now too, Kogawa misses a wild left hook and is tagged in return, Yudai shadow boxing as he misses a flurry, a HUGE HEAD CLASH Kogawa down on his knees. Both men clearly in pain...both told to just watch it ...really lucky there was no major damage ...and both continue to pretty much throw themselves at each other, Kogawa getting through with plenty of right hands vbut Yudai taking them well, hard right from Yudai
4-Kogawa using none of his skills and just looks like he wants a fight, Yudai now responding and the two basically stand in front of each other and slug it. Kogawa trying to lay a trap but doesn't seem with it here, nice combination from the champion, and another, a good right hand from Kogawa, and another and one more, a smart upopercutt from Yudai, 1-2 from Kogawa stiffens Yudai's legs, Yudai finishing the round well
5-Kogawa lands a solid right hand early in the round, now he's starting to box a bit and use his jab, big hook from Kogawa as Yudai walks in, they trade hooks, Yudai tagged when off balance...tbh both look off balance and have done through out...1-2 from Kogawa, Yudai with a solid body shot, a hard right from Kogawa up top. messy, wild, interesting...
Kogawa up 49 - 46 x 3 after 5 rounds 6-The action is up close here but both keep missing in the early stages of the round, can't help but feel something is off about Kogawa, HUGE right hand from Kogawa backs up his man, he misses with a follow up though, counter right from Kogawa, Yudai applying pressure but his accuracy is terrible, Kogawa seems to be taking control now
7-Kogawa on the front foot again, he doesn't seem able to hurt Yudai, Kogawa caught by a counter and looked like he was off balance again, pressure coming from Yudai now and Kogawa trying to walk him on to something, both land a big hook, Yudai hurt from another Kogawa hook, Yudai swings...and misses...Kogawa swings and misses...
8-Kogawa lands a nasty 1-2, a right hand soon afterwards seemed to hurt Yudai, nice combination from Kogawa, a hard right from Kogawa connects, nice flurry from Kogawa conencts whilst Yudai's misses, Kogawa misses, Yudai's work rate has completely faded this round, some jabs popping out from Yudai, both land a straight, Kogawa with a good hook, Yudai's legs momentarily buckled, both swing hooks, does look like Yudai is being chipped away at
9-Kogawa hunting Yudai and marching forward, had some success with a combination, Kogawa slips/pushed down, Yudai dancing on his toes, hard right from Kogawa and Yudai walks through it, stiff shots from Yudai, the champion is under a little bit of pressure now and he responds well with a counter right hand, big left from Yudai,
10-A head clash early in the round, not much happening following tje headclash, both missing and falling short, Yudai almost pushes Kogawa over again, the fight going out with a bit of whimper here though Yudai is on the front foot and Kogawa is doing a bit of running...massiave assault from Yudai and Kogawa survives to the bell Really wonder if that's the last we see of Kogawa as he looked terrible!
