6-Oshima trying to fight his way back into this but Tanooka backs him up, the left eye of Oshima's is pretty clearly damaged, a good right from Oshima, Oshima genuinely looks exhausted at times but he's landing the harder shots, Oshima gets pushed to the canvas, Oshima on the back foot but lands a brilliant right hand, Oshima now bleeding and fighting with his mouth constantly open. Oshima with his best attack in blooming rounds

Wonder if Oshima has suffered a broken jaw as his mouth appears to be open a lot more than it should be...

7-Oshima begins the round on the front foot, iTanooka moving well, a huge right from Oshima rocks Tanooka to his knees, Tanooka holds, it's clear that Oshima still feels he has the power to finish Tanooka, Tanooka backs up Oshima, a straight right hand from Oshima, a body shot back, head shots from Tanooka, 1-2 from Oshima, a good hook from Tanooka, Oshima backing off, a stiff jab from Oshima, Tanooka feeling it and lands a combination, both begin to trade late in the round

8-This is going to be a close one and both men seem to know it, Oshima on the attack early but now his nose is bloodied, good hook from Tanooka, Tanook on the offensive now, a good right from Oshima but Tanooka takes it and comes forward, Oshima the man holding on the inside, Tanooka looks the stronger man as we enter the final minute, a stiff left from Tanooka, a big clash of heads, huge welt forming on Tanooka's head, both starting to swing for the fences, kitchen sink going in as Tanooka is pushed down on the bell.

Both men marked around the face
Oshima gets the win, not sure he deserves that all, he definitely won rounds 1,2 and 7 but struggle to see how he won 2 of the others

Official cards were 75-77, 75-78, 75-78, all in favor of Oshima...very harsh on Tanooka

1-Sawada looking to get in and out, and use his slightly younger feet, Fujihara applying the pressure. Good right hand by Sawada. Fujihara down-slip, 1-2 just misses the target from Sawada but the follow up doesn't and down goes Fujihara! He's up but he's hurt and knees almost buckle when he takes another shot. SSawada smelling an early night. Fujihara covering and surviving but Sawada very intelligent here and keeping on the pressute without wasting shots.

    10-8 Sawada

2-Sawada again looking to uses his speed and timing and is controlling things at a canter, he's hurt Fujihara again and he's forced to hold, tell you what Fujihara must ****ing rock at poker - his face hasn't changed even when he's been blasted in it. Fujihara cornered and Sawada going to work, big right from Sawada, big combination from Sawada, body shot sinks in. Fujihara holds. Body shots from Fujihara but they have no effect and Saewada backs him into the corner

3-Down goes Fujihara again, he's up but Sawada on to him immediately, it's all Sawada right now and Fujihara is basically backing on to one rope, taking a pounding then backing on to another, big combination from Sawada, credit to Fujihara he's trying to fight back and having some moments late in the round but not troubling Sawada who continues to boss the action. Another 10-8

4-Fujihara trying to get on the front foot and stem Sawada's momentum, he's really just making things messy though, body shots from Sawada and Fujihara begins to back off again, a real sickener to the body, Fujihara holding and wrestling, both stand toe-to-toe and let rip, Fujihara comes off worse, more toe-to-toe fighting before Fujihara attempts to wrestle Sawada.

Fujihara's best round, but one that he didn't win

5-Fujihara attempts to be on the attack but it doesn't take long until he's neutralised and Sawada begins to pick him apart again. Sawada's work losing a bit of it's crispness but Fujihara not doing too much to punish him for it, lots of holding and leaning and wrestling from Fujihara, who may have done enough to steal the round with his work in the clinch.

Amazing to think Sawada's first two bouts were against Yusuke Suzuki and Hiroaki Teshigawara, real baptism of fire, last time out he stopped Kinshiro Usui in 7 rounds

6-Fujihara on the offensive and that's a big body shot by him, Sawada looks to turn the tables with his jab, nice straight from Sawada, Fujihara not going away and he gets back on the offensive, action getting messy again, right hands from Sawada, and Fujihara is rocked, he's covering up but some shots getting through! Fujihara holds but he's not recovered, Sawada looking for the finish! Fujihara trying to survive and Sawada's chance seems to have vanished. Fujihara bringing the pressure late but not doing anywhere near enough.

Credit to Fujihara, he was in hell again

7-Sawada on the offensive, he's clearly not just wanting a decision win but Fujihara taking his licks well and fighting back, a lot of holding from Fujihara when Sawada gets inside, Fujihara applies a guillotine choke, 1-2 Sawada, body shots back from Fujihara, they trade body shots and a choke from Sawada at the end of the round sends Fujihara down - slip obviously called

8-Fujihara on the front foot and applying pressure, he'll know he needs a KO to win, Sawada standing his ground and they both look for body shots, Sawada backed up on to the ropes, Fujihara going to the body, Sawada holds, Sawada boring in, it's getting messy as both guys are tired, but they are letting their hands fly between the clinches, the clacker clacks and....we reach the final bell

Credit to Fujihara didn't expect him to last after the first 3 rounds, he's gotta have lost that though

Kano enters first, this will be his first fight in Tokyo, and obviously first fight at the Korakuen Hall. The youngster from Hyogo has lost his last two title bouts and shown issues with taking body shots. Incidentally Ono won this title away in Kobe, out pointing Hiroki Hirai earlier this year
