Dangan 215 (Boxingraise) Shin Ono Vs Riku Kano and Akinori Watanabe Vs Ryosuke Maruki RBR

Need to watch that back, but my first take is that Kano took a butt and mentally quit when Ono chased him around. He looked in control and then completely broke down...if that was the case then serious questions need to be asked about his heart and desire. Ono was hurt, cut, swollen and almost blind in one eye yet never showed any quit, he wanted the win, he had the desire. Big difference

This could be very violent

1-Maruki seems to be wanting Watanabe to come forward and obliges before landing a hard right, Maruki misses with a left, Maruki counters and hurts Watanabe, the veteran recovers quickly, Maruki looks like his gameplan is based on countering the hard htting veteran, Watanabe unloading on Maruki against the ropes, Watanabe stalking and Maruki is already cut above the left eye! That is a bloody nasty cut! Watanabe continues to march forward, body shots from Watanabe, now head shots, back to the body, and up top and Maruki is down! He gets up he's tagged hard again! Cornered in the neutral corner and the referee jumps in! Maruki si blown away inside a round!

 

Expected a hell of a lot more from Maruki!
