    Doing a piece on Danny McAlinden, anyone here have knowledge of him now or ant information on him outside the ring?

    Plenty of views but no replies.... surely, as Danny lived and worked doors etc around Coventry, Birmingham and London some of ye boxing types must have come across him. I know he had some health issues a few years back, any recent update on that?

    Seen this one years ago, yes its something else. I can remember when George Foreman beat Frazier in 1973, there were talks about someone like Danny giving George a defence against him. Imagine that one then.

    I remember that fight, lot's of subtlety on show there then!
    You just couldn't miss Jack's chin, it's says everything about how low Joe Bugner could sink when he was outpointed by Bodell.
