    I can't believe nobody has commented on the absolute train wreck of a matchup that may be in store for us in the event Ríos scores the upset but opts to go for the money/slim chance at gold & glory rather than petty revenge:

    Ortiz vs. Camacho Jr.

    Literally the silliest fight I can think of. Just imagining it gives me the giggle fits.

    I would be surprised if any mandatories happen. WBC has a bad track record with those.

    I'm not even a Ríos fan, in fact I think he's kind of a tool, but he's by far the lesser of two evils here. I'm sick to death of García. :lol:

    Agreed. Better a vulnerable tool who's willing to fight anyone than a top tool who cherry picks, seldom fights and is popular with the judges.

    Yep, which selfsame formula is precisely why, if Vargas breaks my heart by getting yet another gift over my boy Thurman, it will be MY PLEASURE to root for Shawn Porter (whom, it really is no secret, I do not like :lol:) to get all up in Jessie's ass, make him say no mas or mince up his face until the doctor pulls the plug or corner throws a towel, and become champ. That's right, I would rather see a sloppy limited swarmer like Porter become the welterweight king than see Vargas ultimately rewarded for his string of very close scrape-by affairs.
