 Santana seems pretty tough judging by his record but I suspect his guitar skills aren't up to scratch of those of his namesake.

    Round 1

Santana is throwing 1-2-1s and backing Hurd up from corner to corner. Hurd attempting to just counter with solo blast jabs and tiptoe clear, using a shoulder-roll and some cross-armed defense. Santana getting partially blocked with most of his attacks but a few grazing the hairline whenever he lunges in on the ball of his lead foot as Hurd circles into the turnbuckles. Hurd just sliding his legs apart in a scissoring motion and popping jabs into Santana's gloves.

    10-9 Santana, close

Round 2 Hurd-- controlling and hurting Santana with his jab. Landed a couple sharp uppercuts too.

    Round 2

Santana is creeping in and catching jabs on the guard, looking for a spot to unload a high combo, but Hurd won't stay put for him. Good job navigating past the corners by Hurd, not letting Santana get a static target. Santana keeping his fists holstered as he sees chances melt away, but keeping the pressure on. Hurd jabbing the forehead and sneaking uppercuts beneath the guard when Santana dips forward, thinking about some body shots but pulling them as he sees Hurd's feet moving faster then he can match. Santana with a big aggressive flurry into the forearms, the force of them knocking Hurd into the ropes but not getting through cleanly.

    10-9 Hurd

    19-19
