Headlining at York Hall the fourth of April. EBU European light heavyweight title at stake, first defense of Dos Santos. This pair was originally scheduled to meet for this same belt, back on February seventh. DBDS withdrew on short notice, leaving Pitters to go through several opponent changes before facing Bahadur Karami of Iran. Pitters defeated Karami via TKO2. Dos Santos captured the vacant title in June of last year with a UD over countryman Thomas Faure and will be making his first ring appearance in ten months since. Both men have only lost to highly rated British light heavyweights (Dos Santos to Joshua Buatsi; Pitters to Craig Richards and Dan Azeez). Both are in their mid thirties. Both are well over six feet tall.
I didn’t realise old pitter bread was still fighting. Pretty good back in the mix win here for him if he gets his hand raised.
