Jones has an 85 inch wingspan. The height and reach differential would be comical, Jones could just jab, kick and move and trust me Bones has the wrestling to avoid being manhandled by him. Would be good though....I just think it's funny that people are so desperate for someone to beat JBJ and think that he'd be manhandled by Cormier when people have barely even won a round against him when he's faced Machida, Evans, Shogun, Rampage, Bader etc etc

So tell me, how does Jones back off Cormier using his jab when MONSTERS like Barnett & Big Foot couldnt do it with and Jones has very little one punch power. Most of his damage is done by elbows on the gorund. He aint taking Cormier down son... Why hasnt Jones finished anyone at LHW on the feet, and how does a move to being a small HW change things? How does jones take down Comier and finish him, when he wasnt as nearly as successful in his TDA against the biggest and strongest LHW he faced in Rampage? If Cormier cant handle Jones' reach, he takes him down AT WILL. The only question in regards to this fight is how good is Jones guard and punch resistance. No way is Jones hip tossing HW's and finishing them with elbows. And no way is Jones maintaining distance with front kicks and jabs by guys who outweigh him Jones is a great LHW, but this malarky about him beating elite HW's is the only thing that's out of control

He was Pan-Am Gold medallist. Bronze medal at the olympics first time? Maybe, obviously the decisions was when he had kidney failure but he was team captain. Pretty basic style as well, so obviously very highly respected. Only lost to Cael in college if I remember correctly.
