Silva Vs Weidman 3 now is relevant though.

I'd hate to see Silva in with Romero for the interim belt.

Silva just might get revenge with how bad Weidmans looked lately... If Weidman stands with him that is.

He does look bad in terms of his losses but his takedowns are still world class. How many did he land on Mousasi last night?

Him against Silva would be a 3 round affair and one would assume stylistically Weidman has a huge advantage with his take down ability which means Silva is probably going to have to knock him out.

His last two knockout losses have been to knees, makes one wonder how Silva couldn't get the job done in his two attempts at it!

Not sure the second knee was illegal or not, looked dodgy at the very least which to me means Weidman has a good case to wipe the result.

I used to think Weidman was the next big thing, but I must have overrated Anderson Silva and Weidmans victory over him, including past prime Lyoto Machida who is ten times the fighter Anderson Silva ever was.

    DC's an incredible fighter, incredible

Hope he gets his long awaited revenge on the eye poking knee hyper extending drug cheat POS

So once again, instead of staying on the feet and beating Cormier down, Rumble attempts to wrestle, and then seems to just pack it in. Anybody else thinking he threw the fight?

Weidman was over rated. He caught Silva goofing off and destroyed that aura of invincibility. Many people ignored that fact, and tried to reason that he would have beat Silva anyway. Weidman was never that good. He also hasn't done **** simce the USADa testing started, and fighters could no longer use IVs to rehydrate.

Weidmans looked poor in every one of his last 5 fights.. He caught Machida as he was just starting to get old and still only BARELY managed to win, thought Machida took 2 rounds to his 3. Also had a rocky start against a non-juiced Belfort, who was also old and inactive. Then he got the absolute **** beaten out of him by Rockhold, Romero and pulled a pathetic quit job when the going got tough against Mousasi.

    No way.

I've never watched either fight, nor have I watched either fighter before.

I just googled Weidman and saw he beat Silva twice therefore assuming he has some sort of advantage.

Based on your response i might change that now.

Here's my new opinion: Him against Silva would be a 3 round affair and one would assume stylistically Weidman has a huge advantage with his take down ability which means Silva is probably going to have to knock him out.

USADA might have done in Weidman. He fought Rockhold a few months after random out of comp testing started and I remember how tiny and weak he looked and he's performed poorly ever since. Maybe he panicked against Mousasi because he knew he didn't have the extra help anymore.

He also seemed to gas in one round against Rockhold.

DC is well on his way to being the consensus number 2 LHW ATG imo.
