I'd rather see Cormier/Gustafsson II. But the UFC would rather have the LHW completely rot and not even set up an interim. Complete circus they're running.
It's sad to see the current state of LHW as it used to be the flagship division for the ufc for many years.
Between Jones troubles, Johnson's inactivity, Bader/Davis going to Bellator, Krylov signing with FNG, Gustafsson rarely fighting , others getting old/and or dropping to MW and now the division being completely in limbo due to Cormier moving back up to HW to challenge for the belt..... Yeah the division is completely ****ed to say the least. I can see why they don't want to make an interim due to the poor talent that's in the top 10 currently, but the show should always go on an interim titles help keep things moving. Even if it's Gustafsson/Latifi or Teixeira/Blanchowicz II... At least it's in motion.
