Daniel Dawson fighting for a world title in America

It'd be great to see Dan win this title.

Question it poses should he win - Does a fantastic local match-up come on to his radar in the future as a defence in 'Deadly' Rob Medley?

You have to say Grange would be keen to support Medley getting a shot at Dawson.

The other guys jab was a real weapon. Dawson looked slow, sloppy and inefficient with his movement, a 100% contrast to the guy he was fighting. If there is decent money in kickboxing he should stick to that. Good on him for having a go atleast.

 

mma with his skillset - get some wrestling in there and awaay you go.

 

Didn't manage to see the fight - was his head movement slow or footwork?

I would only think there would be reasonable first up money for Australian kickboxing as there are so many more established fighters. I also think that Dawson would struggle.

 

Dawson was game; Dzinziruk's just great. #2 light middleweight behind Sergio Martinez for me.

 

I watched it, he was flat out taken to the cleaners, schooled, That easten European kid has some talent.

 

Dawson must have one of the most padded records in boxing. He has only ever beaten journeymen and bums. The 2 times he has fought good/top level fighters he has been embarrassed.
