now that mayorga has pulled out should dawson put his hand up to fight angulo?

i know angulo is undefeated but he really has only had a couple of fights against decent opponents. he has obvious ability but it would be a good payday for dawson as he would be a reasonable opponent considering they don't have one .

anyone know how their styles would work against each other?

there is much to gain for dawson if he thinks he has a chance of winning.

Some of Angulo's fights are on youtube mate. He's an extremely strong light middy and would handle Dawson with ease imo.
Pissed off Mayorga pulled out as I was looking forward to it... There's talk of Kassim Ouma as a replacement.

Dawson would get smashed against "El Perro" Angulo.
Would be like throwing him to the dogs literally.

I see Angulo giving Dawson no respect and tearing straight at him.

I cant believe HBO rejected Alfredo Angulo taking on undefeated Irishman Craig McEwan (12-0 7ko).
McEwan is a very impressive young fighter under Freddie Roach & would have had the sort of style to give Angulo nightmares. Ohh well

he is going to have to fight these guys if he wants a world title.

can dawson beat any of the guys in front of him?

I can see why they do not want it.
They want to give him a big name, eg last fight Tsurkan was known to most people.
So why would they want to put him in with a no name, when there could be a risk.
Put him in with a big name, to boost exposure EG Ouma

They rejected the better credentialled Ishe Smith.

Looks like they have taken Angulo off the card anyway.

ishe has definately got some talent but jeese whats the go with the guy he never fights full to his abilities from the couple of times ive seen...
this angulo sounds impressive, and ive heard good thing about that kid from freddie roach i reckon theyll boost there records for 5-6 fights then let them go at it then...

I'd rather watch Angulo hit the heavy bag than the boring Ishe Smith.
