When Dawson kept pulling out of matches with Geale like on 2 separate occasions i just stuck a chicken in the middle of Dawson's body in a pic.

It was disliked by a few of the Dawson nuthuggers....was all tongue & cheek.

 

154 is a fairly weak division, He has the power to win a title at 154. Geale may have beat him but who knows if they fight at 154 as Geale still has a question mark over his chin.

True 154 is not the strongest division, but Dawson will better want a shot ASAP, before the likes of Alfredo Angulo...James Kirkland get a hold of titles etc.
They are just frankly another league to Dan Dawson.

Dawson has little to no chance in beating WBO Champ Dzinziruk in Germany, technically so gifted it would be a massacre especially in Germany,

WBC Champ Forrest again way to big a step up. I see another devastating loss.

I see a potential loss by KO against banger Daniel Santos the WBA Champ.

Well the IBF is the best bet with journeyman Verno Phillips but even then Dawson is a huge underdog in USA.

 

I think his best chance at winning a title is with old man Phillips to Kegs.

But his best chance at getting a shot will probably be against Dzinziruk, just because German promoters would be more likely to field an unheard of challenger. As you said though, wouldnt be pretty for Dawson that fight.

 

KO loss you must be kidding, He hasnt been stopped in Kickboxing or Boxing so i dont think Santos would stop him. Id say Mike Zambitis hits just as hard as any of the 154 pound boxers and he Daniel took them well.
Like it or not he will probably get a shot at a belt at 154 before Geale ,as Geale is know stuck with the worthless IBO belt and its useless mandatoriesatsch

 

Look at ray sefo he took Mark Hunts best, but he got ko'd in a boxing match.
In boxing he is fighting guys that are masters at just their hands, not a kickboxer like Zambidis.
Zambidis hits like crazy but he is not a world class 154pd, in boxing terms

 

No mandatories for the IBO I dont think Big Fella.

He can basically fight whoever is ranked at a certain height but they are fairly strigent on who can be ranked because its computer rankings.

 

For the record I dont think many could stop Dawson with one punch in boxing.

He would have to be stopped by accumulation I think.

Yepp WhataRock is spot on. No mandatories with IBO provided its a top 35 ranked opponent in their computerized rankings.
IBO title is a great stepping stone for fighters like Geale to get themselves into a position for a bigger 1 down the track.

Regarding Dawson getting a shot earlier...well thats just terrible management from his team as he will get badly exposed by the Dzinziruk's of this world when stepping up from fighting these bums he gets in Australia.

Do you think Hussy may have won a world title if he was fighting different comp before his title shots?
I felt he would have defeated alot of other 112's the night he lost the first fight to Arce.

 

Ive long said Pong was the best flyweight since Toosharp, very underrated by many. Hussy gave his all in that fight and came up short.

Hussy took another thai just before he took on Pong, a bloke who was a former champ at lightfly and im pretty sure bagged another title after Hussy beat him.

From all the titlists at flyweight of the last 10 years, Hussy probably ran into the best. He could have very well beaten some of the others if he had gotten the shot. I dont think opposition would have changed that greatly.

Hussy was fighting Thais and Filos coming up. The thais and filos at the lower weights are the gun fighters along with the mexicans and japs. Its not like when you say some of our heavier boys are fighting them and everyone rolls their eyes. At the lower weights they have a deep pool of talent.

 

All very true.
At the lighter weights the Filo's & Thai's are much much stronger.
Hussy had to fight 1 of the best eventually & tried his guts out...& came up just short.
He has nothing to be ashamed of...his level of opposition is on another planet in comparison to Daniel Dawson.
