    How much has Dubois improved?

Unpopular opinion but Dubois would still lose imo. After some thought, i really think Zhang has atg power. Joyce stopped Parker and was still unbeaten, he was a solid contender with good chin and relentless pressure. Getting smashed by Zhang and losing to Chisora at his old age has changed the perception

Dubois 2024 with the eye of the tiger like he had going into the AJ fight would beat any version of Joyce. Dubois is an underrated boxer he can win a 12 round slog Vs Joyce by staying one step ahead like he did vs Miller. I believe Dubois in 2020 was good enough to beat Joyce even back then he just approached the fight in the wrong manner due to inexperience looking to blow Joyce out early so once it didn’t play out like that he was underprepared.

Joyce wins it imo. Just a bad style match up

I'd agree, Dubois tried to big-man and push Joyce early and landed some big shots early which did nothing, unlike AJ. Was a bad stylistic match up for Dubois, just like Zhang is for Joyce. It's quite remarkable comparing how effective Zhang's defence/block was against Joyce as he literally didn't get hit cleanly well enough once, whilst Dubois's face was a mess from Joyce's jab alone.

Although, I think it would be a closer fight though, as Dubois has improved and is more experienced.

That's not an unpopular opinion lol, it's the consensus view.

Of course he's hyped, he's just knocked out Miller, Hrgovic and AJ back to back.

I'm just saying it isn't controversial to think Joyce always beats him.

Joyce still takes it, although Dubois has improved he doesn't do anything fundamentally different from before that will stop his eye socket being broken or something similar like the first time. Joyce's chin wasn't cracked, and even new Dubois is not that man to do it, especially at that point in Joyce's career.

Saying that though, Dubois was actually up on the cards in that fight iirc, so if his eye socket hadn't gone, there was a chance he could have won it even back then. I still think he would have been broken down eventually regardless though.

DD has improved greatly since the Usyk robbery, but Joyce will always have that boys number.
I mean Duboise might be able to take him now, but only because he appears to be damaged goods.

Joyce was the nightmare to all HWs, he just fell apart when he faced someone his own size.

Joyce's peak is the Parker fight IMO.

Not sure about this at all! The manner of the losses to JJ and Usyk give some cause for concern but let’s just say the Jury is still out.

Who did boxing latecomer criminal Liston beat? Most on this forum could only reflexively name Patterson, who was smaller than SMW Benavidez. His claim to fame is quitting against Ali.
