BS. He simply tends to gas out in the last rounds. The prove is he was dropped by a jab of Usyk a little before the 12th.
His chin just isn’t great. Hrgovic was beyond overrated in every category and Miller isn’t a one shot hitter. Calling it now, AJ’s cross puts Dubois to sleep.
The Miller who fought Ruiz stops Dubois. He was asking some real questions of Dubois and looked to be close to breaking him at times and probably would have had he come in 30 lbs lighter. Hrgovic was landing at will for the first 5 rounds. Dubois managed to eek out a win with his billygoat strategy and Hrgovic fighting like a total moron. But that fight proves Dubois will be a sitting duck for AJs right hand. Wouldn't be shocked if it goes down like Martin/Ngannou fights.
There’s ZERO doubt we are getting an episode of Shattered Glass in a few weekends. That Glass Jaw is getting obliterated.
It's about as sure a thing as it gets in boxing that Dubois' fragile glass mandible will be shattered by Joshua.
Didn’t he butt his way to victory against Hrgovic after he gassed from beating Dubois up in the early rounds? I heard Hrgovic had been on the slide for years due to the a family member’s passing, I didn’t even know he was like 32 cuz he looked like a zombie against Dubois
I don’t have much hope for Dubois in this. I don’t think he’s AJ’s level and will probably be knocked out.
His chin's fine. The fights he lost, he quit rather than being KO'ed as such, and the Lerena thing was just weird. I still don't know if that first KD was his leg giving out as a result of being hit or not, and the other KDs in that fight were clearly him taking knees out of panic/leg injury. He took a ridiculous amount of straight rights from Hrgovic in those early rounds and never looked hurt, but regardless he's not going to withstand similar punches from AJ, and he's not going to evade then either. I see AJ taking this in early rounds.
For whatever it's worth, I can't see anything other than a big right cross from AJ putting Dubois to sleep. Dubois' defensive flaws are glaring and never seem to have been improved upon. This will occur long before Dubois gets into range.
Hrgovic needs to fight regularly and better opposition if he wants to get anywhere. Sadly most Eastern Europeans follow this path, voluntarily or not.
