if you're not to familiar with the British scene lower down and have only seen his highlight reel, theres one KO that shouldn't be read too deeply into. His knockout of Aj Carter; Carter is as chinny as they come, I think it was the first punch of the fight that did it, he was Sokolowski KO'd him in his fight before. having said that, he looks very well rounded technically for someone so young, his jab seem very good, however, he has only been up against very limited opposition so far and yes to the personality comment above, he is as close to Lennie from Of Mice & Men as you are likely to get
How far? Far, but I have some advice for him.. Don't go chasing waterfalls, please stick to the river and the lakes that you're used to, I know you're gonna have it your way or nothing at all but I think you're moving to fast.
Impossible to say how far he goes at the moment, way too early. Plenty of hard hitting Brit prospects have looked brilliant early like David Price and Pele Reid and then failed when stepping up. He has a very good jab, seems to hit hard, decent hand speed and seems physically strong. But he doesn't move his head much, loads up on the right hand, drops his right hand when he throws it, tendency to square up a little. We'll have to wait until he steps up to see what he can really do.
let him get to british title level and then we can start to judge better a derek chisora fight in 12 months time would be a good litmus test of what and where he is at.
He'll l probably read the posts on here for awhile and make it all the way under blizzys bed and then,....................
