Daniel Dubois showed us that he can BOX and go the distance.

He needs to manage distance better and learn how to create space to connect clean. Besides that he has a decent lead left hook and a nice snappy jab. He has pretty good stamina too which a quality i think Gorman is lacking in.. Gorman will fade out after 5 rounds just like Ruia Jr does.. At just 21 Dubois has plenty of time to improve and refine.

 

Dubois is useless Plague Rat. Gorman is better than that stiff robot in EVERY department!

 

He'll be one of the threats for sure .Only guy with the dimensions beyond Joyce with skill to match with Joshua, hopefully he makes it too Joshua and keeps his focus even if he loses beforehand.

I don't see him winning but that goes for everyone.

 

only 21 still got lots to work on but the people bashing him on here are sad. atleast he proved he can go rounds . and I still say hes a future world champ

 

I've seen one thread with over the top negative comments on Dubois peformances tonight and this one with over the top praise for him.

I don't think AJ is loosing sleep over Dubois beating a guy on points that AJ himself batttered inside 2 rounds 3 years ago. Also I think that the Frank Warren comments of Dubois being the hardest puncher in the HW division look rather foolish on tonight's performance.

That being said there's a lot of positives Dubois can take from this fight. Dubois won every round against a tough durable opponent that has taken the likes of Wlad, Tyson Fury, Pulev the distance and has recently beaten Pianetta. Granted though Johnson fought a very negative fight and offered very little offensive outside of one round.

Dubois comes across a very likeable and humble character. I hope Warren continues Dubois progression by putting him in with with a decent British level fighter next and doesn't put him against cannon fodder and turn him into a HW version Yarde.

 

Mike Tyson didn't knock out Tillis in his first fight going ten? Im pretty sure no one was questioning his power still though it was a much more smarter fan base then even without social media, in fact I know it was bc I was around .lol

That being said hes top puncher but not the hardest one .

 

Daniel Dubois showed us that he would get mauled by Nathan Gorman

 

Dubois is not the puncher he is made out to be but he is talented and he has at least 5-6 years to fully develop as a fighter, right now he wouldn't beat any top 10 guy unless you have Breazeale or Kownacki in your personal top 10.

There's no reason to hate a 20 year old fighter who seems like a down to earth guy.

 

I know the hate he gets on here is sad really I don't get why.

 

Probably because some people think he is a "hypejob" but it's not really his fault and who gives a **** anyway.

Hating on this guy is bizarre.

 

yea especially since everytime he talks hes humble and polite lol. he's not a trash talker or arrogant or anything like that. no reason to hate him.

 

Loads of people on here hate Golovkin and he has a similar nice personality, plus he's actually a great fighter.
