Daniel Dubois vs 1997 Lennox Lewis

This is the same Lewis that knocked Golota into a seizure post-fight and later lost his pulse for 30 seconds btw

 

Lewis would make Dubois look like what Dubois did to Wardley x2

McCall landed a great counter right because he had enough skill to punch at precisely the same moment Lewis was punching.

I don’t believe Dubois has enough skill for that. I think Lewis lands his right early and ends it. The Steward trained Lewis is just a better fighter.

 

To add to my post, it’s not impossible to Dubois to win. Dubois does hit harder than McCall but imo isn’t as good a counter puncher. I just think Lewis gets to him early.

 

He’d have to watch out for that right over the top as he backs up, but overall I see him outboxing and stopping him.

 

Dubois just won a fight today, by stoppage. Due to this he's #2 H2H in history, behind only Usyk. Until he gets KO'd then that victor is #2.

 

Dubois has a punchers chance but not much else. Lewis is better in every way. Would find the right hand consistently like Hrgovic, but land with way more power and pace himself much better. Lewis beats him into submission in 5.

 

Lewis would kill him.
If you watched DuBois vs Yardley- is that his name?- the skill level was abysmal. Yardley just flat out doesn't know how to fight. Neither does DuBois but at least he has some thoughts along those line.
It was an amateur fight scheduled for more than 3 rounds.

 

Lewis wins 9 times out of 10 but he could be caught with Dubois's right hand and get flattened atleast once.

Dubois is very hard puncher especially with the right hand. And Lewis got 1 shotted by right hands against two fighters who don't hit as hard as Dubois.

Let's put it this way if Dubois did catch lightning in a bottle and stop Lewis in an upset.

Lewis would definitely win a rematch regardless.
