26-27 year old Wlad was even more explosive than the Wlad that pulverized Pulev or KOed Chambers. Not as refined a boxer or as good a defense… but man he put some nasty combos together. The Wlad of the Mercer or Jefferson fights shuts dubois brain off within three rounds.
You gotta keep in mind that Dubois isn't really an explosive puncher like Sanders or Brewster. He has great power, but he's not gonna rush in throwing a big left hook trying to take off Wlad's head- Add on his sensitivity to big jabs and I think he'd definitely get put in timeout for this fight. Likely a stoppage in the later rounds via Wlad's big jab and even bigger right.
