I dont think Dubois would go life and death with Vianello, but Ajagba has better movement than aj, KO power and a good jab. 50/50
Dubois is a lot better than Ajagba whom is a mid gatekeeper at best. Dubois has more than enough offensive arsenal to beat him. Early to mid rounds Dubois TKO. It could be a reasonable fight for Dubois to take next following such a loss and the current state of the HW division.
Decent fight, id definitely lean towards Dubois as he has more proven experience. Ajagba has actually slowly and steadily improved throughout his career, but I still think he is top 15, fringe top 10, not like Dubois. Saying that I'm not sure on Dubois' status atm, he has tens of millions, has achieved his goal of world champ and went from being uber confident to getting KO'd in front of everyone, do we know if he can or will bounce back yet?
He's lost twice before and he's 27. If Dubois can't bounce back that just means the competition got too good
Yeah I get what you guys are saying. He doesn't seem the type to be discouraged for long. But for a lot of fighters it would be hard for them to come back from that. Dubois could be an exception.
Nice big step down to build confidence - understandable. Levels upon levels. Dubois comfortably wins this - 80/20
I think this would be the wrong fight for Dubois to take at this point after getting whacked out by Usyk.. I'm not saying Dubois would lose ,probably doesn't but Ajagba can do one thing rather well, he throws a good straight right hand. Dubois needs a softer touch a D or C - type confidence builder opponent.. No point in Dubois rushing back in, his name still has upper marque value , but a KO loss to Ajagba sets him way back
Favour Dubois slightly if he starts fast and jumps on Ajagba like he did against AJ, but Ajagba has developed a decent backfoot game and also a solid jab to go along with his massive reach. He'd be the biggest puncher Dubois will have faced as a pro with the exception of AJ. I could easily see him walking Dubois (who still has awful defense) onto a right hand and knocking him out. Ajagba also throws sneaky uppercuts up close, which Dubois is open to.
Ajagba is horrible from a world level standpoint....................he shouldn't even be in the top 10 IMO. Actually said this 5+ years ago about a potential Dubois/Ajagba matchup.
Dubois vs Ajagba why not? Good fight for both, Dubois needs a win and so does Ajagba, I would favor Dubois as a more proven fighter but I wouldn't say the win would be easy...
