Who would win? I think Dubois would stop Joyce this time or batter him over 12. Joyce got much more flat fotted and is even more hittable nowadays. His footwork is absolutely gone (watch their fight in 2020, completely different Joyce compared to the one against Chisora). What do you guys think?

I think Dubois. But Joyce might have his number, it happens.

Joyce exaggerated to block blows by the opponents with the head in the last years. Maybe he thought to be the new Old Foreman but his chin is no longer a granite chin.

Dubois KO's him within 5/6 rounds.

Joyce fought a perfect gameplan and Dubious simply got put on the end of a jab and knew barrelling forward would not deter Joyce. That was a prime Joyce at his peak. Dubious needed a boxing gameplan executed to perfection but he didn't come for that kind of fight it was more of a see what happens gameplan where as Joyce had it pitch perfect. By the time Dubious had taken too many jabs it was already too late. A good lesson of a fight though. Zhang fight would pose the same problem, have to fight smart early then execute late.

Ultimately Joyce is now 39 at the end of his game whilst Dubious is still a few years off his own prime still. Dubious has a rocky road ahead he still has refinement to come and he's still 3 years away from peak which is good but he could very VERY easily lose again. Avoid Zhang is the only advice and prepare for Bakole... I don't expect Fury or Usyk to be around next year.

Dubious has earned that belt the hard way. No shortcuts. Which is why he executed the protected bodybuilding bum. He has been sharpened by his path.

It's what I love most about heavyweight boxing is the progress is quite stark with the good learners. You can see the change of Dubious over the span of 5 years quite clearly. This is not something you see from many fighters.

One of his biggest weaknesses was late fight stamina which you only really improve with experience. He has made massive inroads on this front in the last 4 years. Usyk showed it was still tough for him but Usyk is the gold standard for making a man wilt under attrition, something Fury is very good at also but his poor conditioning and complacency allowed Usyk to triumph. Also to take note that Dubious put a lot of effort in to that bout early doors like Chisora so the late fight blowout was inevitable.
