And both fought like idiots against Joyce...

Dubois was green, but literally walked onto jabs all night.
Parker tried to outgun Joyce - despite having a lot less power and no chance of getting through Joe's chin.

If Parker had fought for points, he'd have won a decision as long as Joyce didn't catch him with something big - and it would've been much harder to do that than in the actual fight.

Dubois was just young - at the time it was a step too far, and Joyce ate his biggest shots, he just wasn't ready.

Parker Vs Dubois right now? I suspect Parker takes it to points and makes it clear, but you never know - it'd be an interesting one.

I'd rather see Parker get his shot at Usyk, though.

Parker was legit sick against Joyce and realised he had no gas after the first round so threw his game plan out the window and just tried to bang Joyce out of there before he gassed. It shows he can bang and take punches when he has to, but he doesn't normally like to fight like that.

Parker would have beaten Dubois earlier this year, he had a spot on gameplan and had prepared a lot of Dubois. Where as Dubois was overlooking Parker and was the heavy favourite for the first time in his career with all the pressure that brings.

Dubois is over reliant on his jab to build his offense. And when Dubois can't land his offense he gets disheartened since that is his plan A, B and C. Dubois also KOs people by landing hard punches repeatedly, something which Parker can avoid, even if he catches a few shots. For example it took Joyce landing 300 punches and over 200 power punches to get rid of a sick Parker, and Joyce isn't exactly a soft puncher.

The gameplan Parker had involved taking away Dubois' jab and coming in under his guard, exactly what Usyk did in the last fight. It wouldn't have been as destructive or smooth as the Usyk fight, but Parker would have more slowly dismantled Dubois and won a decision or finished it in the later rounds.

Parker got walked down, he was on the backfoot like against Zhang, but Zhang had no workrate and still floored him twice. I'm telling you Parker is not as good as you think

That is exactly how I feel for Itauma V Whyte. Itauma is too young - he has only beaten leftover cadavers and second rate pretenders, and Whyte is a step too far.

Itauma shouldn't make the same mistake Dubois did, by going from a good journeyman to a seasoned vet.

I think it will be a similar fight too. Itauma will look flashy and sharp but he will gas out after a few rounds, those bodyshots from Whyte will be be sickening.

What interests me about Dubois V Parker is the battle of the jabs whilst the fight lasts, I think it will be a 50/50 contest with the jabs as Dubois has the stiffer and more powerful jab. Whereas, Parker has the more educated jab.

I just feel Dubois would overpower Parker and get the KO here, and Dubois would be able to set up his power shots, and they really crack and I think Dubois would land that punch enough and stop Parker in the mid rounds. Unlike Usyk who is a master at not getting hit on top of his next level skill, Parker is fairly hittable and we've seen this before multiple times with Whyte, Chisora, Zhang, Joyce.

Parker and his new Team brought him in far too heavy for the Joyce fight at the expense of his movement and stamina. I’ve always thought Parker would beat Dubois and certainly still think so,don’t get me wrong Dubois could have his moments but Parker is too savvy for him imo.The manner in which there proposed fight collapsed also tells me somebody in Dubois’s Team thought the same also .
