Really depends on Grant. If he runs at Dubois the way he ran at Lewis he’s going to be obliterated. He was knocked out by far lighter punchers. If he boxes his absolute best he might be able to stick his jab in Dubois face enough to keep DDD at bay but a single lapse in concentration and it’s ending badly for grant.
Dubois early KO Grant had history of being dropped hard multiple times in 1st or 2nd round. Also Dubois is certainly harder hitter than Grant
Grant showed alot of heart vs Golota, alot more than Dubois has. But i actually think Dubois is a better fighter and bigger puncher. Grant was clumsy.
Dubois is better boxer (far more fundamentally sound), harder puncher. Grant's style is also tailor-made for him since Grant was always a very slow starter. Grant IMO had better stamina, but for it to become a big factor in the fight he would need either to avoid getting hit or withstand Dubois punches for like 5 or 6 rounds. I can't see a scenario in which Grant is doing either of these things
6 years into their careers is an interesting reflection point. At 6 years in Grants best wins are as follows (give or take) Golota - off the canvas for a KO10 Lou Savarese W10 Obed Sullivan KO9 David Izon KO5 Al Cole KO10 While Dubois 5 best wins Jarrell Miller KO10 Kevin Lerena off the canvas KO3 Trevor Bryan KO4 Nathan Gorman KO5 Joe Cusumano KO1 (I guess) Both have one sided ko losses to heavyweight world champs as well. I think dubois could KO Grant early, but I also think if Grant can get out of the first couple rounds he could use his size to either outbox Dubois with his robotic style or wear him down and KO him later. Before Grant left Holyfields team I felt like he was better. Id probably go with Dubois, but I'd be far from confident.
I'm picking Grant I think he gets a bit underrated nowadays because he got blown away by a prime Lewis who Dubois wouldn't fare any better against. Grant atleast showed a ton of heart to comeback vs Golota, Dubois on the other hand quit after a jab from the light hitting Uysk. I'll go with Grant by late stoppage.
