I'm not sure about Wilder being a sure thing vs Joyce. Joyce is better than most of the mediocre title opponents Wilder has hand picked. Joyce can hit and doesn't lack confidence. His chin is solid, Wilder's is not.

Agreed, Dubious showed development. He's not just a puncher, he's got a bit more than that.

Great performance for 21 years, anyone who doubts that is a hater in my eyes.

Lol so because Ruiz has more power in your opinion than Gorman that makes Ruiz a big puncher? Yeah that makes tons of sense.

Hrgovic beat 80 year old Kevin Johnson and 90 year old Amir Mansour. Yep that clearly means he is the future of the heavyweight division.
Ajagba beat 90 year old Amir Mansour. As I stated beating a old Amir Mansour clearly means you are world class.
Makhmudov beat nobody worth mentioning. So that clearly means he is one of the greatest fighters of all time.
Jalolov beat nobody so I rank him at the second greatest heavyweight of all time.

You ever hear of Tye Fields? He was bigger than each of the guys you name. Guess what? Nobody brought up his height because nobody cared and being tall doesn't help you fight. There have been tons of 6'5 plus guys since the 70s with the 6'6 Al Jones, 6'5 Gerry Cooney, 6'5 Roy "Tiger" Williams. 6'5 Leroy Jones, 6'5 Chuck Wepner, 6'6 Jack O'Halloran and tons of more just doing the 70's nobody cared.

Also no where in my comment did I ask you about what prospects you thought were good. I made a comment to you because you typed Gorman can't compete with modern heavyweights because of his size and reach. I stated that Andy Ruiz has a short reach and is shorter in height. But you bore me now so I won't respond to anything else you type.

Sonny Liston was a 60s HW...

He had a bigger reach than Wladimir, Vitali, Wilder, Joshua, Bowe, Dubois and the same as Lewis

Went to the event. Good evening of boxing. Alot of my previous comments I was following joyce and Gorman.

From my point of view last night. Joyce looked really hurt that first round. He backed up and changed his stance to protect him. I've not seen or heard anything but definitely a broken rib or 2 and fair play to him. He's relentless.

Dubois and gorman suprised me massively. Gorman fought fire with fire wrong tactics all day long dubois he's grown on me. Fought really well and seemingly seems to improve immensely each fight goes by I wasn't sold but starting to fancy him more and more.

Fighting joyce seems to be like fighting somebody in a bad dream, despite everything moving in slow motion for some odd reason thay defiys the known laws of physics you just can't seem to get away.

Good win for Dubois. Gorman certainly felt his power and felt the need to trade with him which certainly isn't his game and clearly lost in that department.

Dubois will probably vacate the British strap and move to Euro level as I can't see many British HWs wanting to take him on. Guys like Wach/Hammer/Duhaupas would be a decent step up for him where as the slow rebuild for Gorman awaits him.

I meant current levels and your right both can progress and improve but I think Gorman would be doing well to win a British title and possibly a Euro title, that's about his limit. His biggest problem is he lacks concussive knockout power and he doesn't have the skills to negate and make up for that lack of power.

I see you registered yesterday and already have an agenda. Which banned poster are you?

If you have a short reach and no medium to low power and don't have a very good chin, you are out of business in the heavyweight division. That was Gorman.

As I close, can you show me who was the last Ring magazine heavyweight to have a 73" reach?

No more replies will I waste on you.
