Dubois can punch and is physically strong but prime Wilder would find the target pretty easily very early on, although could say the same other way round.

I think Wilder has shown more heart and a better chin than Dubois ever has and I can see that making the difference.

Good brawl, but I think Daniel walks into too many shots and Deontay can definitely time him for a Round 8 KO.

Dubois does not move his head. If you don’t move your head against Wilder he will ice you.

Wilder destroys Daniel, hits way too hard for a guy Usyk chinned.

Dubois gets to wilder first. Fighting the current Dubois, Wilder takes massive punishment in the first round. Knowing the danger of Wilder's punch, Dubois would have to start fast like he did agains Usyk, only that Wilder with his shaky footwork and not being able to fight backwards would be overrun just as badly as Joshua.
Everyone who thinks otherwise (and it is possible) should imagine how Wilder gets to Dubois. He always used his left hand as a range finder. Dubois employs his great shotgun of a jab against that and punches Wilder around the Ring for the whole round. Wilder will not be able to contain him or get out of his way.
Dubois only loses if he tries to box against Wilder. But why would he? Noone with his attributes should. That's why Joshua-Wilder had Hagler-Hearns written all over it and why it was so in demand back then...
(Not a Dubois fan specifically, no bias against prime Wilder - just my opinion)

Ill take Wilder here. DD is susceptible to being hurt and I think Wilder became good at biding his time until he had his target lined up. I expect DD would make Wilder uncomfortable throughout but at some point I think Wilder finds the target with his right hand and once he does I think its the beginning of the end for DD.

Even if it wound up being a war, DD is not going to out dog Wilder.

Id be semi confident Wilder gets the job done vs DD.

Im not convinced DD is a better opponent or a harder fight than 2018 Ortiz was.

Prime Wilder drew with Fury and would be close enough to a 50/50 fight with Dubois.
