It's his best chance of making alot of money and finding success. His genetics mean he can pursue most athletic/combat sport ventures and be successful.

It's not like he is going to win Brain of Britain any time soon.

Quitting was the right choice here

If he was fighting for all the belts in an undisputed fight, sure you can fight on and risk losing your eyesight if you're willing (which many aren't)

It was a step too far too fast, no shame in it.

It's not his first one though. He did one a few weeks back, spoke not too bad either.

    Eyesight>>boxing career

DDD is still a bambino and he can come again. Credit to him for stepping up for some real man business against The Juggernaut.

"It happens, he got an injury, that's what happens."

    "But anyway, it's done..."

    "It's done!"

    "It's done, it's over."

    ...

    (Later)

"You lose some, all the greats have lost, you can lose a fight, anyone can lose a fight!"

    "But it's done now."

    "It's done!"

"It doesn't make any difference in how we move forward."

    "It's done! It's done!"

    (Later)
    ...

"You have this sometimes in boxing, it's the sport, it's brutal!"

    "But it's done now."

"It's done! You can't change it. It's done!"

Hasn't Dubois been groomed (Not sexually) by his dad from very young to be a boxer? Not just a pushy parent, I mean all of his life has been controlled just so he can box. That's why he acts like an awkward teenager in interviews because he doesn't have the life experience outside of his dad's bubble.

    It's very likely he's still a virgin.

The lad needs to go and experience life a bit.
