Daniel Estrada vs. Adrian Verdugo & Hugo Fidel Cazares vs. Daniel Diaz RBR

Minimal touch-ups are, yes. If it's that bad, that a superficial wipe and letting the corner gob on some vaseline won't accomplish anything, he's supposed to stop it.

This could have been stopped already, honestly. It's a nasty gash.

 

Round 7

Verdugo is bullying Estrada around and putting left hands in his face. Estrada tries to clear his field of vision with the thumbs of his gloves brushing across his eyes and race the clock to land as many jabs and righs as he can while able to see Verdugo. He does alright in these exchanges but inevitably Verdugo starts to press the advantage as the blood continues to pour and Estrada starts to miss. Lots of incidental rabbit punches by Verdugo as Estrada instinctively curls up into a ball once the crimson darkness falls.

Round 8

Verdugo is coming forward and bombing away with bad intentions now, trying to put the wounded animal out of its misery. Hooks landing for Verdugo, on the side of the head and up by the cut. Estrada isn't cooperating, and pushes Verdugo to the ropes with a series of body shots, dug in firmly with as much leverage as he can muster. Jabs by Estrada backing up. A flimsy right hand flung out in Verdugo's general direction. Estrada leans down and inside against Verdugo as he advances, and then misses an overhand right. Verdugo eats a jab at the bell.

Round 9

Verdugo is pushing in and tossing shots at Estrada's head. Estrada tries to drumroll to the body, ducking and springing up for extra oomph. Pause. Cut checked. Cleared again. Time in. Verdugo is ripping Estrada's forehead further apart with the jab and putting right hands and hooks together behind it. Estrada gamely stands his ground and fires back but is facing the same dire problem he has for more than half the bout now, lacking nearly an entire sense.

Round 10

Estrada's face is a bit cleaner now than at the start of the preceding several rounds. He gets back on form, throwing right hands over the top in a beeline for Verdugo. Estrada puts together shots with both hands, hard and turned over fiercely. Verdugo seems taken aback. Pause. The referee brings a broom into the ring and conducts a little tidying!! He's sweeping the ****ing Corona logo!! atsch Time in. Estrada BACK ON THE ATTACK!! Verdugo is getting drilled on the ropes. Ref taking a close look!! Estrada keeps hitting him with jabs, rights, hooks, relentless!!!!
