So can we expect to see Golovkin-Geale fight this summer on HBO?

That'd be a start. Let's hope the dates HBO suggest don't clash with a "big" event that would worry Geale that nobody would see it. God that was an embarrassing case of ducking. But at least he seems game now. Let's get these contracts signed and give GGG some real comp so we can see if he's actually as good as advertised or not

Adama, Lee, Geale and Martinez in 2014 for Golovkin.

Hopefully Geale and Martinez keep their word and fight GGG.

If woods punches did so much damage to Geale as to make him call out GGG......imagine what Gennady will do to him!

why would geale not make the fight with golovkin prior to the wood fight, then call him out after it?

geale isn't in a position to make demands (fight shown in Australia). if he wants to make money, fight mundine again. if he wants a crack at mister notoriety, which will surely give him a shot at Martinez, then take the fight while it is still there

So will the 'armchair' experts be promoted to 'certified' experts if he wins?

I think Geale loses, but fight still needs to be made. He is a legit talent and top rated MW contender/former titlist, and you cant give him the "L" without actually having the fight. Unless he did a Sturm and went to any/all lengths to avoid fight.

(Geales previous "duck" of GGG was for a 7 figure payday, he made 4x as much at least as he would have fighting on the same date with GGG )

Also, the Australian PPV kind of makes sense too.. since even if he only had 20k buy and even if it was only $20, and even if he only got half the take thats still 200 grand. No idea what Geales Aussie PPV figures are or their cost/split but I would wager my example is rather conservative.

Geale always calling out Golovkin right after Golovkin secures another opponent following Geale turning down the offer himself for a variety of reasons. Getting pathetic.

Golovkin beats Lee, then goes to Chavez in July, and Martinez in November(ish). Daniel could go on a streak about how Golovkin is ducking him and not have to worry about facing Gennady the rest of the year.

In fairness to both Golovkin and Geale, both of them did agree to fight each other on the date that later went to Adama pending HBO coverage. HBO declined Golovkin vs. Geale in Monaco for February...

So, in that sense, clearly neither are "ducking" the other one.

Geale declined the fight in Monaco because he wanted to fight GGG in the U.S. on HBO. That's from Geale's promoter, Gary Shaw.

    Good analysis

PCP is the key to Geale's victory here
