The actual gauge for this fight should be their first fight, they are both pretty much the same fighter. Mundine to break Australian hearts once more.
Geale now has more big fight experience and has a better resume than he did in the first fight. Mundine is also that little bit older and has had injuries. However no matter what titles Geale has won since the first fight, Mundine is still the only man to beat him as a pro. So regardless of what he says the fact that Mundine has previously beaten him will playing somewhere on his mind, it may be at the very back of his mind but neverless it is still on his mind. I hope this is a competitive fight for the sake of Australian boxing, I think Geale has the upper hand this time but I wouldn't be surprised if Choc turns back the clock and pulls out the win.
no its not rubbish u twit, its my opinion, there is a difference, me thinks you are doin to many hours in the local tip, rubbish in the head, cut back those hours dude, not good. No i didnt fall for **** buddy, i was thinking this in the lead up to there first fight, i followed geales career and was thinking choc better not take this dude lightly or hes gna lose, geales the real deal. choc is a cocky ******* who thought he could beat most fighters on sheer talent alone, he has the perfect personality to underestimate an opponent, being so cocky, i bet ya he thought just another local white boy to feed my record, **** he didnt even know geale was part aboriginal before they fought, and he stated that after the fight during the interviews, i bet if he knew geale was aboriginal, he would of taken him a bit more seriously, as everyone knows kooris are special athletes. :hey
Hi Sparta Teke hasn't answered me to how Sturm who has spent nigh on ten years with world title belts arounds his waist and was very unlucky in most peoples opinions to lose to ODH close to Oscar's prime is 'ordinary'. You agreed with him. Cause I'm just thinking that a legitimate two time world champion with that kind of longevity is ordinary then by extension there are a heap of less than ordinary boxers being discussed in this particular forum.
fROM a business point.Geale carries,Mundine and makes it look close.we than fight for a 3rd time.$$$$$$$$$$
He's fighting Geale because he believes he can beat him. He already did once. Geale is a skilled boxer but is not dangerous like Golovkin or Kessler. I don't really rate Trout but let's see how he does against Cotto.
I would like to know how many of Sturms fights you have actually seen seeing as though you mentioned the Dela Hoya fight from years gone by? A Dela Hoya who was fat, past his prime and out of his division. If Sturm had anything more than just his good jab that night he would have smoked Oscar badly. I will tone down the ordinary bit but he was never seen as an elite, i couldnt imagine what Hopkins would have done to him if they ever met :admin Sturm = Poor Mans Winky Wright :deal
Actually, we are. We do know his track record, but Roscoe asked what the Mandy huggers are basing their thoughts of him winning on. You instead only mentioned Sturm as not being a good gauge for Geale. You answered the wrong part of the question, as he was actually asking about Mandy. In other words, you feel Geale shouldn't be judged on his win with Sturm, because you say he's ordinary and a bad gauge? Yet you claim Mandy will beat Geale because of what? Because he beat McKart, Alvarez, Toliver, and Wood. Is that a good gauge in your mind?
Only way Geale wins this is robbery. When Mundine puts his pride on the line there will only be one winner. Choc would die for the win, Geale wouldn't. One winner. One pioneer. One Mr 5 time. No turning back of the clock required. Choc will stop this pretender, I think he will hurt him but not let him off the hook this time. Sure Choc is older, but he hasn't lost any of the attributes needed to beat Geale. Geale still does what he does.
