He is a coward, just like most of the people in your stinking country, including yourself.

Geale beat the cowardly German so deal with it, F@ggot.

Beating an injured guy in Barker to become a paper champion is hardly anything to write home about. We all know Sturm is going to keep that belt hostage in Germany until he retires. No way does he dare to even mention the name of the one they call Triple G. :deal

I always wondered what would happen if you took all the scum, criminals etc from civilised countries and dumped them into an island full of marsupials. You just cleared that up for me Kas.

Uh, GGG's team has tried to make this matchup at least twice... three times if you count the time when GGG was Geale's WBA mandatory and Geale gave up the belt rather than fight GGG. Geale turned down the Feb 1st date and the April 26th date, so the question you should be asking is: "Will Geale take this match up?"

geale fighting mundine was acceptable - it was his 'payday' after beating ze germans. second time wasn't, so let's hope the third time will seal the deal :good

Talk is cheap, but when it comes time to sign on the dotted line the reality of the situation tends to sink in. I think that has been Geale's past issues with fighting GGG.

That being said, GGG has an open date after he punishes Lee..

    Hi all,

I know I am new to this forum. Although, I look forward to discussing boxing with you all. I run a boxing website called. thefixisinboxing as a part time thing.

Most recently I covered the Geale vs Wood fight for my website as well as The Ring Magazine.

My article from Ringtv.com can be found here: on the main page of Ringtv Daniel Geale dominates Garth Wood

Also, I got a 9 minute one on one interview with Geale. He called out GGG and Peter Quillin as well as discussed many of the fighters at 160.
The interview can be found here: thefixisinboxing.com/2014/02/19/daniel-geale-post-fight-interview-part-1/

    thefixisinboxing.com/2014/02/19/daniel-geale-post-fight-interview-part-2/

I would love if some of you could check it out.

    Thanks,

    Matt Jones

I didn't argue the merits of why he's turned down the 3+ fights with GGG because it's hard to know the exact reasons in the decision making process without being in those meetings. We can guess as outsiders all day. Some of the passes seem reasonable. Though, after 3+ refusals, one begins to wonder some things... This will be at least his 4th offer to fight GGG, not 3rd, by the way.

The funny thing is, Geale probably had his best shot of beating GGG back when GGG was his mandatory. It would have been better for Geale had he beaten GGG, kept both the Super WBA and IBF belts, and then gotten the Mundine payday one fight later, but it seems that he had doubts about this preferred scenario and took the more guaranteed money and got stripped of the Super WBA belt. I don't blame him, but GGG has improved a decent amount since then and now, I don't think Geale has a prayer. It would have been a better fight back then.
