barrys commentary in the maxwell - akauloa fight was hideous. kept praising maxwell and noting evety punch he threw and landed but totally ignored akauolas defensive and evasive techniques.

if anyones ever seen akauola fight you'd know hes got a brilliant defense, which bazza ignored

watch some of the rounds of green vs mundine. green throws several good punches, with some nice ones landing, yet nothing from barry. mundines lands the one pretty insignificant punch and barry will give every superlative known to man for a minute after.

yes mundine won, but by his commentary, u would think green didn't land one punch over 12 rounds, lol.

    His commentary is annoying.

Akauola never sparred for that fight i was told...rarely trains for any of his fights. Besides that, he can make feather if he wants to but that would involve spending time in the gym. :D

Anyone thinking di bella will come knocking again with the martinez offer after sergio is done with the barker fight?

Im thinking sergio v geale might be around the corner.

He and his brother were handy am fighters. But he refuses to train as a pro and gets on the sauce. So no surprises.

one more quick thing with regards to the maxwell akauola fight....bazza kept referring to akauola as "the filipino"....the ****er was born in brisbane of tongan heritage ffs...

come on baz, get it together son. or step aside....u made a goose of yourself as soon as the cameras starting rolling by referring to dib as the ibf super featherweight champ.

He obviously didnt do one bit of research for the show which is just plain lazy and unprofessional. He sucks on all levels of commentary.

Just goes to show, you dont have to of laid an egg to tell a good omelette.

Looked like the young Tyson against Sammy Scaff.

The scary thing is, although Niemann is improving in quantum leaps with each fight, there's still plenty of room left for improvement.
