Daniel Geale is a 5'10 34 year old Middleweight with a 31-3 16 KO's 1 KO loss. Born in Launceston, Tasmania and fighting out of Mt Annan, New South Wales, Australia. Geale is a former WBA Super World Middleweight, IBF World Middleweight, IBO Middleweight, IBF Pan Pacific Middleweight, IBF Pan Pacific Light Middleweight, IBO Inter-Continental Middleweight,OPBF Middleweight (Interim), OPBF Light Middleweight (Interim). So by no means is he just another victim to the Great Meatgrinder known as Triple G, who when he wasn't getting dropped was performing quite well, he's a genuinely skilled incredibly talented Boxer who on his best day could give many a Middleweight a run for their money, just not Gennady Golovkin, and make no mistakes just because this rugged Aussie with Aborigine in his blood was put down, by no means should he be counted out. The 2 losses on his record are nothing to be ashamed of, his first loss was to Anthony Mundine who depending on the day can real a tough test for anyone and the loss was a very close SD loss, followed by a loss to the very game and very underrated Darren Barker who was himself coming off of a loss to Sergio Martinez, Barker came in like a man possessed looking to prove himself after being stopped by Martinez, and he performed far better than anyone had predicted, but still the match was a damn close SD, so the fact is no one before GGG has ever fully outclassed Daniel Geale. He's as awkward as they come, he has an incredibly odd rhythm that he sets that hard for his opponents to adjust to, and even though he's quite the feather fist it doesn't mean he can't hurt his opponent. He punches hard enough to keep his opponent honest and just cautious enough. Also he has a pretty good list of wins that people tend to forget he bested Felix Sturm, Sebastian Sylvester, Anthony Mundine in the rematch, Osumanu Adama, Jarrod Fletcher and handed Daniel Dawson his first loss. So before just assuming Cotto will steamroll GGG victim Geale, re-educate yourselves and realize this may very well be a cherry pick gone awry for Kneeguel and the possibility of a Trout like Schooling is a very legitimate possibility. So Check Out Real Deal Geale in Action.:bbb:bbb:bbb:bbb

good god, is there a ban on paragraphs? and surely Geale is too ashamed to call himself 'real deal' anymore after wussing out of his Triple G beating that was coming.

ya, Cotto won't like getting hit by Geale at all; a faster, slicker and stronger guy than Margarito. doesn't have Margo's heart though.

Cotto & Geale: "Yes, we'd like to ask our daddy, Triple G, to step aside after our fight and not beat us up and take this belt."

I really hope he won't have trouble making 157, so he can be as close to full strength as possible.

Would be so funny if he takes the lineal title... and sad at the same time.

I think he can do it with relative ease, he's never had much of a problem making 160 before, so he'll probably be okay.
