Persian / Iranian who lives in denmark ;)

On-Topic: My bet would be Geale in a decision like 113-115 or 116-112. Geale's fitness reminds me of Joe C and styles make fight, Geale is a different kind of boxer than Martinez, he just keeps coming at you. I think Barker has to stop Geale in order to win, i cannot see Barker win a decision over 12 rounds, unless it's a robbery. IB what do you think?

I agree... Barker will have to catch Geale with Multiple hard shots early in order to slow him down and catch him... I doubt this will happen, and Geale will do what he does, take Barker into deep water and drown him.. Geales conditioning and effective technique is what has got him here, no need to change it...

Barker wont find Geale hard to hit, he wont have to chase Geale, Geales gonna be standing right infront of him. Geale looked really great on the pads during a training session in USA but anyone can look good on the pads. Given the opposition Geale has faced recently id favor Barker.

Barker is unlikely to be the easy fight for Geale that Mundine was.

Good fight for Geale, I reckon he swarms Barker and tags him all night long.
Lead right left uppercut, catch Barker ducking down.

I can't see Geale losing this fight at all.

    Leonard

The ‘same old same old’ wont be enough from Barker to beat Geale. Barker must literally almost double his normal punch output if he is to win. Thats a big ask from Barker who has always lacked the physicality needed to make it as a champion. But f he really has reinvented himself as he claims then he definitely has certain advantages over Geale. While I favour Geale, the physically and mentally tougher man, I have to point out that Geale is by no means unbeatable. He has been very lucky so far, but there is only so far you can go on Geales limited skillset. So Barker has a chance.

The stats are in favor of Barker, he is way more accurate than Geale, throws half as many punches as Geale and still has a higher accuracy rate than Geale does.

It has the makings of an excellent contest. But Geale by UD and on to bigger things.

obviously he is going to be more accurate he throws half the punches whats not to understand about that he has **** work rate and against someone like geale that doesn't bode well, tough fight either way but I see geale winning by a couple rds

I agreed with what you said about his accuracy, I just said his work rate is horrible and against geale he makes you work or you loose rounds very quickly

I don't think it will work in USA, look at Soliman vs Winky, Soliman threw a tone more punches than Winky, his work rate was way more than Winkys, yet Winky won the fight due to his accuracy of punches. It doesn't matter how many punches Geale throws per round, if few of them are Landing the Judges wont give him the rounds.

Geale won't give Barker enough time to be accurate, he will be swarming him and making him uncomfortable.

    Much like Guerrero vs Berto.
