    He actually went for it.

You don't win rounds on defense alone unless your name is Pep.

    Round 10

Double right hand by Geale. Mundine begins to clinch often, grinding elbows on the inside. Geale hops out of the way of a Mundine left hook. Geale is darting in and out, showing fresher legs than Mundine who looks mired in quicksand at times. Double jab by Mundine, and another backward hop by Geale. Grazing jab by Geale reaching in. Mundine is pressed to the ropes and tries to pivot side to side swinging wide counter hooks, missing. Geale backs him across the ring with pawing double jabs, Mundine reflexively jerking back.

    10-9 Geale

    100-90 Geale

I think this fight showed me that Geale would get taken apart by Golovkin

He has a lot of holes in his defence. Most notably after he punches or when feinted and backed up

Can you please forward this memo to Joshua Clottey, three years in the past. Thank you.

I'm kinda underwhelmed. Geale is probably winning these rounds but mostly he's just dancing and throwing flurries that Mundine blocks.

In order to win, Mundine needs a KO.

In order to get a KO, Mundine needs to punch.

In order to punch, Mundine needs to be someone other than who he is.

True, but he's also likely taking chances because he knows the extent of Mundine's power and isn't worried about it...whereas he'd (presumably) be less reckless against Golovkin.

Pretty much. This is no middleweight classic, but it beats Zbik vs. Spada I & II. :conf

I have seem him to do before though I think, agaisnt Sturm. He briefly adopts the shoulder roll (why?) and pulls back in straight lines.

I take what you are saying though, maybe he just doesnt respect Mundines power (or lack thereof)
