    Romero is jabbing over Martinez's head. Quick 1-2 by Romero. Martinez whips in a right to the body. Martinez bows and weaves coming forward. Romero feeds him a jab. Big digs to the body by Martinez. Romero is put on the ropes as Martinez rips away with hooks. Overhands by Martinez. Romero is hurt by a left hook, staggered over. Big hooks to the body from Martinez. Big left hook to the mouth by Martinez. Right hand, left hook, Martinez is a buzz-saw. Romero backs into a corner and tries slipping shots. Clubbing rights by Romero to back Martinez off. Martinez just keeps plowing in. BIG OVERHAND RIGHT by Martinez. Hooks to the body by Martinez. Hard looping right to the floating rib by Martinez. Romero pushes Martinez away when trapped on the ropes. Romero flicks his jab and shuffles back. Big hooks and looping rights by Martinez, missing but pressuring Romero into the ropes.

    Crazy opener. Martinez got outboxed for 90 seconds and spent the next seeming to be on the verge of another KO1 of an unbeaten.

    Romero is landing the jab backing up and circling. Straight combos by Romero catch Martinez coming on. Romero flicks the jab and changes directions. Martinez whips in an overhand right and finds Romero's chin hanging out. Romero blinks and keeps moving. Another overhand right by Martinez and gets blocked. Martinez pushes in with body shots, scoring few. Romero circles off the ropes and flicks jabs. Romero covers and leans forward as Martinez whips in a left hook to the body. Right hand lead by Romero.
