Respect. Usually, "opponents" don't get any air time before the fight happens. Orlando Cuellar is training Albert. Good trainer, you may know him as Glen Johnson's trainer.

Here we are, round 1 starts up. Belandres paws with the jab, now fires off a double jab, Brunker coming forward, throws a couple of jabs. Belandres dips to his left, and to his right, making Brunker miss. Belandres fires off a looping right hand, very hard, Brunker has his gloves up and blocks it. Brunker inside digs to the body, a left and a right hand. Brunker walks into a big right by Belandres. Brunker eats it up, and digs to the body followed by a left hook to the chin. Belandres pounds his gloves together ala Pacquiao. Belandres still dancing, and jabbing as Brunker comes forward. Brunker pounding Belandres to the body, nice right uppercut in the midsection. Belandres has bad body language. Jabbing and dancing still though.

 

Brunker starts off jabbing as he tries to close the gap. Belandres nice looping right hand, followed by a double jab. Brunker gets inside left hook to the head, and a straight right. Big uppercut by Brunker, Belandres takes his well and gets back to jabbing, but Brunker marches forward. Big left hook by Brunker Belandres pounds his gloves together again. Belandres lands a big left and another lopping right hand. Brunker responds, and Belandres comes back and replies with a three punch combo. Belandres lands a 1-2 a big right hand. Brunker lands a left hook, Belandres lands another right hand. And now another. Brunker eating quite a bit now.

 

They start off in the middle of the ring trading jabs, Belandres taking a little step back moving to his right, Brunker misses with a 1-2, Belandres circles to his right. Belandres lands a nice right, Brunker eats it up, lands a left hook. Belandres misses with a wild right hand. Brunker still moving forward, missing more though. Belandres doing a nice job, slipping. Left hook lands for Belandres, Brunker responds to his own left hook to the body. Belandres misses with a left hook, they jab to end the round.

 

Belandres starts off controlling with a jab, circling. Brunker lands a right to the body. Left hook by Belandres, they trade left hooks. Belandres is not moving back, he's sticking his ground. Big right hand to the body by Belandres, and left hook to the body. Brunker responds with a 3 punch combo. Brunker is bleeding out of his right eyebrow. Belandres is moving forward, Brunker is moving backwards now, big momentum shift now. Belandres lands a big right hand. beautiful straight right, ref calls time. Doctor now looks at the cut...he'll let it go on. 20 seconds left in the round, Belandres is pressing and that's the round.

 

They trade left hooks. Nice right hand to the body by Belandres. They trade jabs, big right hand by Belandres. Belandres is pressing forward just a bit. left hook to the body, right to the head lands for Belandres. Brunker lands a jab and a nice right hand. Belandres lands a double jab. Now, back on his toes a bit, jabbing. Left hook to the body by Brunker, and they trade left hooks. Nice right hand by Belandres to end the round.

 

Round 6 Brunker starts off with a double jab, tries to move forward, but eats a right from Belandres. Belandres jabbing off his back foot. Brunker jabbing a bit, moving forward. Belandres nice stiff jab. Left hook by Belandres. One two lands for Belandres, Belandres touches the ropes, Brunker fires off a 1-2, but Belandres slips and gets away. Good move. Both still jabbing now, in the middle of the ring. Brunker comes in nice right to the body, and Belandres looks a bit weary now, Brunker tries to take advantage, but misses and Belandres bounces away.

 

I'm not really officially scoring the fight, but I would say it's even going to round 7.

 

Round 7. Belandres standing big rights by both men. Brunker moving forward, Brunker fires off a 1-2,.Both still jabbing now, in the middle of the ring. Brunker comes in nice right to the body,

Round 8. Boom both trade nice rights to start the round. Brunker walks into a right hand, jab and a right hand miss for Belandres looking weary still. Nice right hand to the body, 1-2 by Belandres but it has no pop. Both men very tired, Brunker now starts coming forward left hook, right uppercut to the head. Belandres 1-2 and BOOM nice right hand really snapped the head of Brunker. Brunker holds on.

Good fight, tough scoring. I would say even, may'be 1 round difference either way. Close fight.
