Make no mistake about it Geale is fighting GGG because he has no other options left. Whilst Geale had any world titles in his possession he did everything he could do in order to avoid fighting GGG

There's rumours going around that geale has options after this fight win loose or draw..so he knows what his doing..

 

Geale has done it the smart way. He's banked the easy millions he made against Mundine and now he's after his 3rd legit world title.

Stepping upto the plate when you have no options left isnt really stepping upto the plate now is it Pureist? What else exactly is he going to do? there are no current big money fights out there for him, he holds no titles, he is at the mercy of a guy like GGG whom no one wants to fight. He may have options on GGG but i can tell you now, once GGG does a number on Geale he isnt going to wanna go anywhere near GGG again, he will more than likely retire.

 

Geale had the Macklin fight if he wanted it. But chose to pursue Golovkin instead. Macklin was angry as hell when Geale bypassed him after the fight was all set. Haven't you even read what has transpired since Geale was to fight Macklin?
