Do people agree with the bookies making Geale favourite. I am a bit surprised at this. Personally I favour Macklin.

Arguments can be made for both. Macklin has lost 3 of his past 5, but they were against absolutely top shelf opponents.

    Hopefully a great fight.

Well i guess you should be making some money then.... Personally Geale should be a slight favourite.

Yeah TAB sports bet has Geale as the favourite. I see the fight is only scheduled for 10 rounds so it's not a official eliminator?

Yeah good one idiot, if you can read you would see this bloke joined the forum 2 years before me. It is possible that more than one person dislike you're hero Geale.

I have greatly enjoyed Geale's lack of action over the past eighteen months;it has saved me some arduous time in examining, what I really cant pinpoint, what I do not like about his performance and style.

Where do you get your strange notions?
    Me - an alt??
    I "dont like Geale" weird!

All I said is that I would make Macklin a slight favourite over Geale! In no way am I sneering at Geale or disrespecting him by saying that surely? Its just my honest opinion.
Geale could win this one. I am not writing him off at all. :think

Geale has gone a very long way on a good engine high workrate and decent defence. But he is no way a great boxer. Mack is no way flawless himself I know, but all round he is a bit better than Geale IMO.

There have been far more entertaining boxers to watch. But it is after all about using to best effect what you've got is it not, and Geale has used his style to great effect so far.

Geale has been a huge over-achiever IMO. He has squeezed every bit of good out of his limited ability.

Great opportunity for Mack - its only 10 rounds and Geale isnt the most destructive puncher is he? Hopefully Mack isnt so washed up that he cant manage 10 rounds with a light puncher. Geale wont have huge height and reach advantages like his last opponent, he wont have a great jab to keep Mack off, and he wont have a killer punch. Geale likes to engage, which should suit Matt. All in all this has to be as good an opportunity as any for Matt at this stage IMO.
If Matt loses this the decision to quit boxing is effectively made for him - he must retire.

Mike Perez has suffered a shoulder injury causing the Perez vs Jennings fight to be cancelled. Not sure where this leaves the Geale vs Macklin fight?
