Don't know how Sturms crisp shots weren't enough to win. Geale's demented washer woman style got him the nod, two of the judges enjoyed his feather fisted flapping offence.

I thought francis was the most bitter **** I've seen here, but u r getting very close.

why don't u just put all that effort into a fighter u like instead of hate so much?
seriously, just try it for something different, lol.

Check out IB's RBR - most had Geale winning or a draw. Very few has Sturm winning.

Guys we all seen the fight and we all heard the commentators say ''There are some worried looking German ringside''. A detailed breakdown of how many scored the fight from fight hype.
Boxing press and fan forums score 46 Geale,19 Sturm,19 draw.
27 more people scored the fight for Geale than Sturm. Close fight edged by Geale. Nice trolling by the Prowler though.:good

Hopefully Felix has got to get past Soliman first. Nice unification fight if Geale fights GGG and causes the upset.

    From the main forum:

HBO has offered Macklin a fight with Korobov on the Crawford-Gamboa undercard. Korobov has accepted the fight, but now Macklin says he needs time to think it over as he's been preparing for Geale and now would have to adjust to a southpaw that hits way harder.

This is the second time HBO has tried to make Macklin-Korobov, with the first being last November when Nelson dropped out of his fight with Macklin. Matt turned it down sighting the southpaw reason and ended up fighting Lamar Russ while Korobov fought a great with Derek Edwards.

Geale is a boring fighter. Lets be honest here. He has that pitter patter workrate thing going on. The fans just don't want to watch that. HBO knows what they are doing. They were happy to have Geale as cannon fodder in a main event against Golovkin the middleweight king elect. The boxing worlds fans don't care about Geale neither do HBO. Once destroyed by Golovkin he can go back to the regional RSL circuit and half fill halls.

If Macklin does accept the Korobov fight on the Crawford-Gamboa undercard, I'm not sure where that leaves Daniel Geale? Particularly if Golovkin vs Fletcher goes ahead.

I guess he'll just have to hope Sturm beats Soliman. Sturm has already expressed interested in trying to even the ledger with Geale.

Once Macklin heard Geale was talking to Golovkin he obviously had to seek something else for himself. That something else appears to be the unbeaten Russian Matt Korobov.

It would still give Macklin about 6 weeks to prepare instead for the southpaw Korobov. But Geale vs Macklin is still the most appealing fight outside of Geale vs Golovkin.
