    Main forum suggesting Korobov vs Uzcategui is a done deal for the HBO opener on the Crawford-Gamboa card.

    This would leave Macklin free to fight Geale.

    HBO are now saying Geale looks like Golovkin's likely opponent for July. Could leave Macklin on the outer again?

    That's what they said last time, Sam didn't listen. Good to hear Sam on the radio this morning talking about the fight. Level headed as always.

    Loeffler says talks with Shaw are progressing nicely. He has contacted the WBA looking for an exemption to bypass Fletcher for now and face Geale on July 26th in New York. He says he is confident that will be approved this week. I think Golovkin needs Geale to be honest as much as Daniel needs another world title shot. I mean Stevens, adama and fletcher...not exactly murderers row. Geale is a solid opponent who I think Golovkin gets rid of inside 6 rounds. Technique, feet, power....way too much for Geale, who like Macklin will say afterwards that Golovkin is the best he has ever fought.

    Soliman was good enough a year ago at 39 years of age to have all 3 judges award him the fight against Sturm.

    I'm not sure how much one birthday cake is going to make? Unless someone put kryptonite in it perhaps?

    Good fighter make other fighter's have career worst performances, and that is what Soliman does.

    Based on their first meeting it is Sturm who needs to improve to beat Soliman. Not the other way around.

    Have you ever admitted Soliman is the better man now?

    Sturm has never beaten an orthodox stance Australian. That's a mental barrier he must overcome if he expects to beat Soliman.

    Still not prepared to admit Soliman was the better man the first time I see - even though you "hope all you guys will come on here after the fight and admit that Sturm was indeed the better man" :lol:

    Why the **** would anyone need to need to come on and admit someone "was the better man" lencoreastside? Especially when you hypocritically cannot do it over the first fight. Sounds like we are back in kinder - we are talking about a couple of boxers not Gandhi versus Buddha FFS!

    How you or I scored it matters not. The 3 judges on the night all scored it for Soliman.

    Having proven he can match it with Sturm the first time Soliman has to be given a good chance in the rematch.

    As for being around after the fight. Whether Soliman wins, loses or draws makes no difference to whether I'll be around here or not.
