So...I woke up incredibly early, had a pregnant woman scream at me, got thread blocked, and didn't get to see any actual boxing except the last half of a six rounder between Aussie journeymen. (and Fury vs. Power round 8...twice. And Cauthen vs. O'Donnell round 12...twice).

NASCAR is the pinnacle of a certain aspect of auto racing. My family was always big on it. I never cared, but ended up watching some of it. Gotta say, way better than most MMA I watch, and that is honest. Better than baseball too in terms of entertainment via presentation. I sound like a fan, hmmm....

Premier Sports is a very small company, they pick up a lot of fringe sports like that (and boxing, sadly).

They really don't seem to give a toss about the NBA over in the UK for some reason. A few people, maybe - but it seems a very niche following over there.

I very often see NASCAR advertised or aired on Sky, Premier and the like.

Never NBA.

Weird.

 

Yeah Nascar is boring.

 

Nascar is probably cheap to buy over here and takes up a lot of programming space, so it's ideal for something like Premier Sports.

Not really, a a handful of hardcore fans then...a few others who have heard of guys like Kobe or LeBron...Linsanity did the rounds with the general sports fans but that was a real 1 off.
