Is this one that the fans would one to check out? I need to check more of the Aussie, but from the little I've seen he'll have his moments in there. I don't know much about his corner/trainers, but he does seem to have enough fights under his belt to not be overwhelmed by Sergio's craftiness.

What do you Aussies mates think? Can he take Maravilla ?:bbb

:think wow, I guess the winner can call out Martinez. Pirog will more than likely be the one:good

Pirog will be Daniel Geale's biggest test yet. Whether Geale has the power to deal with Pirog will be the biggest question. If he gets past Pirog he's probably ready for the even bigger challenge of Martinez.

I haven't watched much of Geale but when he fought Karmazin Roman was old and chinny yet even the 12th rd stoppage he wasn't actually knocked down. I don't think his power will play any factor.

Geale is not a huge puncher and has only a little over 50% KO rate

He wins his fight with skill Beating Sylverter in Germany by a pretty widfe margin shows this

I think he has a fight comming up in Aus then Pirog then Martinez.

Thje last 2 obviously huge fights but he is stepping up the right way and I guess as they say only time will tell

Exactly what I was alluding too. Geale will rely almost entirely on workrate. But will he have the power to make Pirog respect him and keep Pirog away?

Who do you think Geale is fighting in Australia > Sammy Soliman?

Geale is a weakling hes physically as strong as the next flyweight it´ll be a walk in the park for Maravilla/Pirog pretty much all top10 middleweights destroy him.. he´ll hide himself in Australia keep his belt as a hostage there as long as he can fighting some club fighters at best..

Dan Rafael's got Gaele at #4...

"Australia's Geale made the most of his mandatory title shot against Sebastian Sylvester on May 7, going to Germany and scoring a split decision win, something quite rare for the visiting fighter. In his first defense, Geale returned to Australia and outpointed tough Miami-based Eromosele Albert on Aug. 31"

You know he's fighting next? The winner of -this guy he just beat- Albert vs Shot-to-**** Sam Soliman, as a... mandatory. That fight is an IBF eliminator. So no, he's not close to dealing with Martinez yet.

Wonderful. This ain't fukkin Chavez Jr we're talking about, this is Gaele who went and defeated Sylvester in Germany. Hoping to see Gaele in better fights than this, soon...

So it's Albert v Soliman and the winner fights Geale then?

No winner of Albert-Soliman fights winner of Adama-Karmazin.

I can't believe they put Albert in the eliminator. He was ranked like 15, gets dominated by Geale (who should've been able to stop him), and now back in the saddle?! Quillen should've taken the fight with Soliman. He would've won the elimiantor and beat Geale and made himself a big player in the division.

Albert-Soliman fights winner of Adama-Karmazin. Got that. But who is Geale fighting in the mean time? Or is he just going to put his feet up til that lot have sorted themselves out?
