This is quite an interesting fight. It's got plenty going for it: domestic super-fight, rematch, controversy from last time, two guys who have held titles.

I thought Geale won last time and was unlucky so I'd make him favourite. He's been fighting waaay better recent opposition too while Mundine has been fighting guys like Bronco McKart :patsch Should still be a close fight I think. Geale on points.

Hopefully he wins this time, id actually love to see him fight Pirog, i think they tried to make that when Pirog still had a belt

Martinez is hurt, Chavez suspended, Njikam and Quillin busy, GGG maybe but who else....I mean i actually wouldnt mind a Sturm rematch but this is big money

Again, what about the fact that GGG is/was the mandatory for one of those belts?

Soliman is IBF mandatory and GGG is WBA mandatory, so yeah, this is strange.

I bet Soliman will wait, as this will make his own domestic match with the winner even bigger. The WBA may strip Geale although that could still be unlikely given how reluctant they've been to do so in the past.

Good points. It will be interesting to see what happens. Soliman probably waits yes, but can Shaw get the kind of influence with the WBA that Stum and Don King has?

Soliman is a bum and doesn't deserve a shot anyway, the ratings for no1 mandatory are flawed with the IBF for Soliman to get a shot.

Besides, Mundine has beaten Soliman 3 times, what happens if Mundine beats Geale? Does that mean he defends first against Soliman and a 4th fight :patsch

Geale won't lose to Mundine so it all should be sweet for A gEALE V ggg OR gEALE V mARTINEZ FIGHT MID 2013

Maybe i'll rephrase that to journeyman.... the guy is a gate keeper with a dozen losses. Everybody bags Mundine yet he defeated him 3 times... go figure

why not? not that bad, I'd rather GGG or Martinez but that can't be expected right after beating Sturm in Germany, let the dude milk it for a fight or 2, next year he should def unify though if he doesn't then we can start giving him ****.

So GGG is **** out of luck again? HBO should push for a GGG vs Pirog fight as it seems HBO liked GGG. Pirog should be recovered from whatever injury he had by now. If not Pirog, get Barker back to face 3G.

Hopefully the WBA strips Geale for ducking GGG.This fight means nothing-except in Oz.

Geale has faced much better opponents than what GGG has at this stage. After fighting Sylvester and Sturm in Germany for genuine belts, I don't think you can begrudge him this fight.
