Geale is only fighting Golovkin because he has been painted in to a corner and he has no chance of beating the God of War

Katsidis probably has the best resume of any Australian born fighter over the last 15 years. Much respect to Mick for taking on all comers, sometimes he came up short but he won't die wondering.
Robbie Peden deserves and honourable mention as well. When he won the title he made his first defence against Barrera, when he could of fought an easier fighter at home in Australia.

But Geale has still fought some big names and credit to him taking on GGG, I honestly believe Geale isn't scared of him and truly believes he will win. I think like Katsidis he will come up short, but credit to him.

 

If it goes the distance, geale, if there's a stoppage, ggg. Already gave that weeks ago.with mundine, you said something along the lines of "he's back" after Mosley, and to say no chance with geale is very naive, he got to where he is for a reason. Fighting Marquez, Casamayor & Gurrero is a lot harder than beating bums like Sylvester & Sturm, Katsidis in his prime would never have lost to a bum the quality of Darren Barker. Belts don't mean everything, it's the quality of the fighter holding the title.

Wait a minute you are contradicting yourself. Whilst I agree that Kats has faced the far superior opposition(he was my favourite fighter)as you say Marquez,Casa,Guererro and I would add the baby bull to that list. Sylvester while no great shakes and I think only got the title when Abraham went in the super 6 against a nuffy he did have 4 or 5 successful defences. Sturm was a super champion. Not an ATG but a very good boxer.
Barker gave Martinez troubles in a losing effort. You support Green and Mundine. Lets not forget the quality of Greens opponent in his real world title who lost in his 1st defence. How quality was Stipe Drews? you still count that but don't you. And as awful as Drews was at least he attempted to defend his title. And your other hero changes weight divisions every time he had to face a dangerous opponent. Kats best wins Earl,Mitchell,Escobedo are below Sturm and probably even Sylvester. Though he took on the better calibre fighters and would of been the legit LW World champion if JMM moved up earlier as Burns got Kats when he was on the slide.

 

Poor Prowler so many Aussies in title fights at the moment while they are still cleaning scraps of Mundine of the canvas after he was destroyed by a shot Clottey.

First of all I never said Greens win over Drews was great but his win over Lucas is better than any win on Geale's resume.

Second Barker did not give Martinez trouble Martinez was lazy in that fight and Barker Quit on his knees like a *****.

Katsidis also beat Jesus Chavez who is a much better fighter than Sturm.
