Those odds are big overs...I honestly believe the only big advantage GGG has over geale is his big power. You are mad if you are an Aussie and don't have a few $ on geale at those long odds

Geale doesn't even acknowledge that he held the IBO belt on his twitter or in interviews. If the IBO cook the cards it will be for Golovkin.
Nice conspiracy theory in case Geale wins a close decision though.:good

Mundine deserves more respect than we give him, but Geale is our best fighter in the last decade. And yes the IBO is a joke of a title- just look at Danny green

 

Yes, Danny will most likely lose and probably inside the distance. But he has taken the fight, that Green or Mundine would never take - so I am struggling to understand why he isn't shown respect by so many in this forum.

I do hope he gives a good account of himself.

 

The majority claim to hate Mundine and Green but not a thread can go by without them being mentioned. It seems all Aussie fighters are measured against them and people try to justify short comings or ducking and will say but Mundine never did this or Green never did that

 

Green brought good fighters here and mundine raised the profile geale is legit and fights for his gym and there name.. But us Aussies like to put the other team down always..the fact is geale mundine and green and soliman and sica are not the best and that's all we got. GGG would beat all of them easily..except for geale because geale has a very experienced gym behind him.

 

Because they are the 2 highest profile boxers in this country who talk a big game but rarely delivered. I know I get the s**ts Geale is getting nearly zero media coverage for fighting the #1MW in the world yet few people care. Props to Green and Mundine for playing the game and making a ton of money though.

 

Boxing fans here sure are a fickle bunch. On one thread we have Mark Demori being bagged for not stepping up, and rightly so in my opinion, and on other threads we have Daniel Geale being ridiculed whilst having an honest to goodness crack at the best middle weight in the division.

Some of these Geale critics really need to take their negative bull**** and stick it where their mothers never kissed them.

A former world champion, with only two losses to his record, fighting the biggest bout of his career.

As an Aussie he's got my full support, cos I thought that's what we Aussies were all about.

 

That's because Geale is an insignificant pisss ant who lost to the lowly Darren Barker Geale thought beating a shot Mundine would get the Aussie public behind him but his fighting style is boring and he has the personality of a baked potato also guys like me don't buy his nice guy act and see him for the arrogant douche he is.

 

they r just trolls. I don't know why anyone would try and debate boxing with them at all. u cannot have a discussion with people like that.

 

I have predicted Golovkin to win by 2nd round KO but I do hope Golovkin takes his time and delivers a prolonged career ending beat down. I just hope Geale doesn't quit on his stool between rounds and takes his just beating like a man.

 

So Geale is insignificant eh ? Former IBF Middleweight Champion of the world and now stepping up to challenge for the WBA World Middle Weight Title at Madison Square Garden, the historical home of boxing.
