Daniel Jacob next fight could well be against Lemieux

I really hope Lemieux makes a good career in boxing. Love his boxing style and his power. Also he looks just like my cousin lol

Unfortunately he just has bad luck being in the same division with GGG who is the worst nightmare for him style-wise. I hope he moves up to 168.

 

these are the kind of fighters that should avoid each other unless its for a title. Then the risk reward is taken care of by the best fighting the best.

 

Lemieux should lose this fight, but Jacobs can't trade. Lemieux struggles badly against the jab, he's susceptible to getting thrown off if his opponent jabs and moves. He struggled in his last fight at times, problem is his opponent was hot garbage.

 

I think this is an easy win for Jacobs. His style would give Lemiuex fits. Would love to see it happen though should be a great fight, maybe Lemiuex pulls off a lucky shot and hits Jacobs with a bomb.

 

I'll get excited once it is signed but for right now it is just speculation that I won't get my hopes up for.

 

Have to favour Jacobs in this one.

If he fights like he did against GGG he will likely win a wide UD.

On the other hand, if Lemieux works on his footwork and turns it into a brawl, he might have a reasonable chance of blasting Jacobs out of there; his power is probably second to none in MW if he lands clean.

Of course this scenario requires David to step it up a gear and all things being equal, the advantage is with Jacobs.

 

Have to favor Jacobs on this one. Jacobs has considerable size advantage and stylistically Lemieux is better suited to him than other way around - Jacobs can box long and wait for openings. 60/40 or even 65/35- fight in my eyes.

Only question mark is can Jacobs perform the same level as he did against Golovkin. He was clearly in some juice in order to make weight and staying in the fight 12 rds. He behaved differently than he normally does indicating some kind of stimulus usage. It could be, that it was once in a career type of thing that he can´t pull off again. If that is the case, I give Lemieux 60/40 chance. If Lemieux can tee off, he will KO Jacobs.

 

Jacobs should win if he boxes either late stoppage or UD. Lemieux always has a punchers chance though.

Should be a good fight though, make it happen!
