Why not? He looked pretty good beating up Mora last weekend. He's fast and with good power. Will he be they guy to seriously test GGG. Nah. I don't think he's that good.

Jacobs is a good middleweight and either him or Saunders is most likely the best middleweight behind Golovkin.

When Jacobs first came up I didn't think he was as good as some of his hype made him out to be.

Now he seems to have developed into a complete fighter and has put together a nice record and his win over Quillen(when you factor in the ko-1) is one of the best middleweight wins in recent years.

I don't think he beats Golovkin because of his chin though. If Jacobs had a better chin I think he'd be a 50/50 type of match up with Golovkin. But his chin won't hold up and Golovkin will probably stop him.

He's still the one opponent I'd most like to see face Golovkin but I'm skeptical it actually happens, atleast this year.

It is not going to be an easy fight for GGG, but I think he can beat everyone in the MW division

He sure is. I still think Golovkin should beat him, but Jacobs would be the best opposition Gennady has faced up to this point in his career. He does hold the biggest win for either fighter in his 1 round destruction of Quillin.

Now if Jacobs' chin isn't too fragile, he could make it a very interesting fight. I'm just not too sure how he'll hold up though after getting caught flushed by Golovkin.

    Yep, he's worthy.

    He can also bang hard.

He's also on a nice streak.

Jacobs can beat GGG if he swarms him early.

I never got why people never got behind Jacobs. He's entertaining, comes across well, exciting.

I actually have a life. I dont have time to follow all the divisions. 122-154 are the most interesting to me. 160 can become interesting once the top JrMWs move up in a year or two.

He knocked out Quillen, a guy who was shamelessly ducking Golovkin. That resonates leading into the match-up. Does he stand a chance vs. Triple G? Hell no (in my opinion). But this fight was inevitable.

On another note, Jacobs has also taken on (and beaten) Cancer, only to return to professional boxing and reach the level that he's currently residing at. <-- Takes a pure warrior's heart to do this.

People will be shocked at how easily 3D brutalizes Jacobs. He is too easy to catch inside the wheelhouse.

Actually the ref did pick up the count from outside the ring and got to 5 and he kept Jacobs on the floor. Jacobs was ok to continue, but the ref prematurely stopped the fight. Jacobs kept saying I'm good, I'm good. That's why referees need to count to 8.

Sure, why not! He looks the part and has a dynamic win over another top 5 MW at the time. Has been on a roll and is capturing a certain communities imaginations.

Of course after he gets stopped the narrative will change and the collective wagons will be hitched to someone like Eubank Jr.

Jacobs has a long thin neck. He actually could improve his punch resistance by correctly training his neck but seems to work more on his beach muscles.

Professional fighters do waste time and energy training for asthetics, it is a fact and shooting the messenger will not change this.
