He is one of the best wins to have been had at MW for a good few years now. He is most certainly relevant in history for his couple recent losses but in that sense he gets his due as he is not a HOF-level fighter. And ultimately that class is the one remembered decades on.
Danny isn't a legend. He's a "Kingmaker". He's just at the cusp of greatness. A champion level guy that can adjust and pretty much beat nearly anyone that isn't a generational or potentially generational talent. And even the generational talents, he makes look less than spectacular. He and Shawn Porter are probably the best example of this era's kingmakers.
Canelo Usyk Loma Inoue Crawford Joshua Fury Beterbiev Keith Thurman Spence Josh Taylor Danny Garcia Billy Joe Saunders Danny Jacobs
Jacobs is better than the Charlos and far more proven. Also, Brook hardly 'exposed' GGG merely by having a couple of competitive rounds with him, that is a laughable comment. Brook is a very talented fighter who was in his prime and undefeated, he would have a bit of of success against anyone. But the fact is Golovkin brutally violently destroyed him in 5 rounds, and Brook has never been the same after that beatdown
A very good fighter, had a solid run at MW too. Lost every big fight he's been in but only by a round in each one on my card. Except for Pirog obviously who iced him
1. GGG 2. Cancer 3. Clenelo 4. Pirog 5. Derevyanchenko 6. Peter Chocolate Than you have the likes of Truax, Sulecki, Chavez, and Mora
What do the charlos have to do with this? Brook showed ggg was a sucker for the uppercut and touched him up outboxing him. He was too small for ggg had they been the same size he would have beaten him.
Best wins are The Latin Snake, the blasphemously monikered Kid Chocolate and a 12 bout experienced Derevianchenko? Hardly a legend. He's being overrated because he further exposed GGG vulnerabilities.
